Benwikere got his most extensive work in team drills thus far. Says he's thinking less and reacting more. That was on display today.

Rivera says the #Panthers offensive line is gelling nicely, gave praise to LT Michael Oher. Rivera also likes depth, esp. Jonathan Martin.

  1. Rivera says Benwikere’s still a starting option at CB, along w/being top NCB. He can play on outside cause he plays vertical despite size.

Concern on the health of Tyrone Green, a do everything offensive lineman. Right foot injury. Team hoping it's not an Achilles

Rivera says DEs Charles Johnson & Frank Alexander are dealing with hamstring injuries. Slight possibility to return by end of week.

let them rest.. those 2 are going to be huge for us this year.. we need to be healthy.. they really dont need the reps anyway

injuries on our D-line could be 1 thing that would derail our season.. *knock on wood x1000*

Past few years, the secondary hasn't been Skrong enough to let the D-line get many coverage sacks. Adding Tillman will make QBs hold the ball an extra second or two in the pocket, giving our D-line more time to get to him.

    • I feel like Baylor has the edge against Auburn tonight. I'm not a big Jackson Arnold fan and Baylor has a good number of starters returning from last year and finished last season pretty hot. I also think Miami might be a disappointment this year. Carson Beck is a huge downgrade from Cam Ward and that defense has never really played as well as the talent level would dictate it should. I can see Notre Dame going in this weekend and winning big, but I'm not super confident in their QB situation either. App State/Charlotte could be a sneaky good game, too. No idea who is going to win that one.
    • my dawg, Mike Davis didn't come across good in that podcast on multiple levels.  No one should be upset someone says that.  Seems to me you are trying to find disrespect to be upset with me over.    not sure you even actually read my post before you jumped into your reply, given what your fact correction was.
    • Kicker with one leg fired after going 0 for 28 on field goals. Panthers are cursed.
