Tyronne Green injury

BBR is reporting an injury today to OL player Tyronne Green (#69).  I can say this is a Panther name I'd never heard until today.  Looks like we signed him in Dec. 2014.  What do I need to know about him?  Where was he projected to be on the depth chart?

I watched the video of it. He was holding a blocking pad and someone was attacking through him. He backed up several steps and then gimped on his right foot and started limping. Still it could be anything but it didn't look super serious. Or at least not obviously serious. But if the team is concerned (outside of being generally concerned about any nick) then that's no bueno.

 

Side note: I also have no idea who he is.

OK, so I did a little more research.  I guess one of the concerns is that he has had a lot of injury issues in recent years, so another one could mean he's gone.

Jeremy had him 3rd on our  left guard depth chart below Silatou, so I guess that means he was not likely to play anyway.

Tyronne Green - 5th year journeyman our of Auburn, injury issues. 

I guess the hope was that coming from Dallas, he might be quality depth, given their stellar OLine.
