I'm sure many of you saw this.

But at Thursday night's preseason game against the Pittsburg Steelers he says, "This little feller in a red shirt said I needed to sit down, and I said, 'I've been doing this for 14 years. You got to be kidding.' Next thing I know there was a posse of cops, a deputy sheriff and Charlotte police escorted me to security."

Nejberger says Panthers security never gave him a reason for booting him from the stands. He says they just told him, "You have to go or we're going to have to put you in jail."

The Panthers front office better correct this situation and do it in a hurry. That is not the PR that you want going into the season. Luckily for the Panthers they do have an out right now with Jon Richardson stepping down earlier in the week. They can just blame it on a transition problem, fire the security guard and apoligise to the fan.

At least I hope that is how its handled.

And this is why we are the laughing stock of NFL fanbases.

Our stadium is filled with snobby douchebags and yuppie fine young males who think football and golf are the same sport.

"Ohh look Miranda, they converted a third down attempt, I do believe a gentle clap is in order. WELL DONE GENTLEMEN, TALLY HO!."

I have one.

It was early in the First Quarter and four dudes sat down two rows in front of me. For the past five years that I've been coming here, those four seats have always been taken by a guy, his wife and their daughters. Anyway the family comes later and informs the four dudes that they're in the wrong seat. As they're leaving, one of the four dudes accidently pushes the father down on top of an old lady in the next row. He didn't apologize to the father, just kept on walking. Anyway, the four dudes walk up a few aisles and take four more seats. The father calls the usher. The usher calls security. Security calls more security.

The guys are removed from the game.

There was no need to taddle on them, but the dumb punk could have at least said "excuse me". Not too sure where there actual seats were.

Oh noes!! I would be out every game if they escorted those that stand and cheer. In 14 years, we've only had 1 person ask us to sit down and he wasn't the usual seat occupant, who stands too. He was older and had trouble standing so for that game we were more careful. (My son stood but leaned into me so the guy could see. lol)

There was an incident between 2 drunks in our section a couple of years ago that needed the police. They were both escorted but the one that had been standing came back, to cheers. The complainer didn't.

We're in trouble if this becomes the norm. The guy complaining probably didn't hesitate to text security. Jackass!! :angelsad2:

I liked the part "You can't get drunk on $7 beers. No, I was not drunk at all,"

I saw another guy pretty close to me get ejected last night for basically nothing. It was clear he had a few beers and at one point he walked right down to the railing and took a picture of the cheerleaders with his camera phone. The next thing I know, he's being escorted out by a cop?

    • No need to explain everyone on here ‘drunk posts’ watching this team …who could blame anyone  when they were mentioned in the same breath as the Jets and Browns onward and upward as far as bryce’s little fella self, can take them
    • Sigh, we should of have kept Ashawn over this bum.
    • Well, everyone is a critic.  not much meat on the bone here in analysis but if the team needs motivation … lol   I have also heard a lot of talking head or two say that ‘Young is not in the same class as most of these teams and that in 12 of the 17 games he is the lesser QB   BR write up below  2025 record: 8-9 Last season, the Carolina Panthers made the playoffs for the first time since 2017. They won the division. Bryce Young made strides, throwing for 3,011 yards, 23 touchdowns and 11 interceptions with a 63.6 percent completion rate. Wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan won the 2025 Offensive Rookie of the Year award. In free agency, the Panthers signed edge-rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd to bolster their middling defense. Carolina can win with complementary football if the offense continues to trend in the right direction. In 2026, Carolina will play the AFC North and NFC North on a first-place schedule, which includes matchups against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, and the Seattle Seahawks. The club will have a much tougher 17-game slate than it had last year, which may lead to regression. The Panthers aren't on the same level as the league's top teams. We'll see the gap between them and division-winning clubs from the previous season. 2026 projection: 6-11
