Big Frank, Big Frank, Big Frank!

So you are asking others to do the research that you are too lazy to do?  Gotcha.

i actually just wanted to spur the conversation that we have yet to have on him. This tthread served it's purpose.

I was basically calling out his supporters, asking them to explain the starter qualities they've seen that I hadn't.

It's all written in the OP.

PS: fug typing on mobile.

Me and nearly everyone I know or knew smoked it morning, day, and night. very few touch it anymore if anyone. It's just weed.

I am not sure that I understand your point, except to say that you surrounded yourself in the culture I described in my post. I bet your friends talked the same, developed the same senses of humor, and talked about weed a lot.  In a sense, it is more than "just weed," it is the common denominator for all of your relationships and interests.   Where were the people who didn't smoke weed when you and everyone you knew were high?  Go ask your boss.  I guess my next question would be, "Why did you all quit if it is 'just weed?'"  How was your life going when you smoked it morning, noon, and night?  What could you be doing that was significant?  I think this proves my point about Alexander.  Now that he is clean, he will focus on his job and not his escape.  (not getting personal, but just offering an extension of my point.  Thanks for playing).

I'll  retort to this later.

Anybody who thinks they know what we have in Frank Alexander on this day, July 8, 2015, is lying to themselves.  Here is why, and reasons I am optimistic about him:

You are measuring Frank by comparing him to CJ and Hardy in year 4.  Compare him to them in year 3.

There is still a difference, but a player who fails NFL drug tests repeatedly for marijuana has a serious problem.  I read that most NFL players smoke weed, but only one in a thousand gets caught.

I have known people who love weed, and it becomes their identity.  They surround themselves with other potheads, listen to different music, change their language, etc.  Not that he did all of that, but these are signs that it can be a big distraction and impact motivation.  Of course, there will be people who read this who get defensive and claim that I do not know what I am talking about--my perspective is from the outside looking in, I will give them that.  They will not have long to retaliate, however, because those fries don't salt themselves and the drive thru shows no mercy.

Frank joined a church.  Again, this is an opportunity for people who know nothing about the church to bash it.  Unless they are kissing serpents and drinking poisoned Kool-Aid, I don't give a crap and it is his right to find his method of worship.  Call it a cult if you want, but from what I can tell, it is the jolt of positive energy he needed to break away from his drug addiction (I will call it that without proof).

I believe that, for the first time, Frank Alexander will be focused.  He knows that he is on his last leg, and if the reports of his sobriety are true, you have not seen this version of Alexander.  I think we will be fine with him, barring a relapse.  If that happens, he is gone.

Quite the stereotyping and generalizing you you have done there. All Jewish people have big noses too, right?

What a stupid reaction to a post that should not need explaining.  There is no link between drug use and lack of professional motivation?  Wow.  Your first post was both dumbass and smartass, all in one swoop.

I have found that people who are smoking marijauna or other drugs tend to get defensive about it when someone questions their ability to function in other aspects of life.  Stereotyping by me or denial by you?

    • Linebacker The Panthers have selected decent pass-rushing linebackers in recent drafts, but a three-down player at the position is needed. More than a run stuffer, a linebacker who can cover is an offseason goal. Edge Rusher Nic Scourton played incredibly well as a rookie, but another consistent pass rusher to pair him with is needed, as D.J. Wonnum looks set for free agency. Offensive Line Starting left tackle Ikem Ekwonu tore his patella tendon during the first quarter of the playoff loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He will be out for a while and may miss all of 2026. Interior blockers Cade Mayes and Austin Corbett are set for free agency. MOCK DRAFT ROUND 1: Cashius Howell/Edge/Texas A&M If CJ Allen falls to this spot, I believe the Panthers would scoop him up, but the Georgia linebacker is getting a lot of love in the scouting community. In Howell, they are getting a system fit that could be a terrific pairing with Scourton. He’s also a pass-rushing linebacker who is effective in space.   ROUND 2: Jake Golday/LB/Cincinnati Golday is the three-down linebacker the Panthers’ defense needs, as he’s tough, instinctive, and well-rounded. Dan Morgan will love him  ROUND 3: Michael Trigg/TE/Baylor Carolina has solid tight ends but no true playmakers. They seem to have an aversion to throwing the ball to Ja’Tavion Sanders, and he hasn’t developed as expected. Trigg can get downfield and be a large receiver at the tight end position ROUND 4: Brian Parker II /C/Duke The Panthers could use a guard or center, and Parker, who played right tackle for Duke, projects to either.
