ESPN top 100 players--Luke doesn't make top 10

Captain Morgan

As irritating as it can be not having our boys get recognized, in the long run I don't think it's a terrible thing.

When a guy gets that spot light shining or the hype train rolling it does strange things to some people and others around them. I prefer our team to fly under the radar and keep grindin', upsettin'.

 Team results  > Individual results

Luke's position alone limits him in these type rankings.  Some plays simply allow you to make bigger impact plays than others.

Andrew Luck is great....but overhyped.  He has too many "should of been a picks" IMO.  He could lead the NFL in TDs OR in turnovers and neither would be a shock.  People do act like he is in prime Peyton mode already.....he isn't that yet.

I love Cam but comeon, Luck took a roster of nobodies except TY Hilton and an old Reggie Wayne to the AFC championship last season. He had no defense and no running game, and a bad offensive line. The same Colts team that went 2-14 and lost 63-7 on MNF without Peyton or Luck a few years earlier. They haven't really improved at any area except at QB

I love Cam but comeon, Luck took a roster of nobodies except TY Hilton and an old Reggie Wayne to the AFC championship last season. He had no defense and no running game, and a bad offensive line. that offensive roster was handcrafted for him since the day he was drafted....and it is deep.

Luck likes TEs? They immediately draft him his boy Fleener and  Allen.  Boom, he immediately has his two TE sets with 2 young good TEs.   Those 2 set a NFL record by 2 TEs on the same team last year.

WRs? Hilton the young explosive big time playmaker, they always give him the savy vet (Wayne and the moment he lost his wheels they bring in AJ).

then their depth....they have WRs like  Moncreif etc they are young and explosive who can make big plays.

Indy is straight up stacked in terms of recieving options....no team is as well rounded in the NFL.

Why did Luck throw 40 TDs?  Bc his options are very good and they can deal with injury bc of how deep they are

As one of the few people (fix, only person) on this board that actually likes Andrew Luck (sorry, Stanford fan), it will be fun watching him get destroyed when we play Indy this year in prime time.

Better still would be if Cam has a better statistical night than he does, resulting in a W.
