Any News On Daryl Williams?

I normally don't like to make threads asking questions but I haven't heard a word about Daryl in over a month. He went down week 1 with a 2-4 week MCL Sprain. We are now in week 7. Has he started practicing yet? Have I missed some news?

I'd really like to see this guy get worked into our running game even as a jumbo tight end.

Following the Voth tweet ^^ Williams was at practice on the stationary bike.  The timetable was looking better for him than initially predicted.  Now it's just seeing when the big man can practice effectively.  I'd imagine that the training staff doesn't even know much at this point.  Day to day.

Seriously, that's better news than I anticipated. It will be awesome to get everyone at full strength for these huge games coming up. Is there any chance we will add receiver help by the deadline? Or we just gonna roll with what we have?

he's a big guy, you don't rush these things back with big guys, especially if he isn't a starter yet.

I want updates on Shaq and Dwan more than him at this point and Allen of course.

Can't wait to have him back but I don't think he will even sniff the field until he's 100%.  Rookie player with a ton of potential, and he's not needed at the moment.
