The evolution of PHILLY BROWN

Stupid elementary lies and taking things way out of context which is your modus operandi.  I thought Gettis would have done better (and deserved to be on the team) more than Armanti Edwards. I thought Moore would be better for us than Brown (and still do),  and I thought Boykin would do more for us than Brown (and still do).  I am not going to apologize for that.  No one can prove that I am wrong.  These receivers are not my standard,  they are just either what was put before me or have been available.  Stop being so simple minded.  I know that you can think more analytically than you let on.   But, like I said,  it doesn't fit your stale narrative.

The fact that 0 teams picked up Boykin proves you were wrong about him, no?

Funny you mention Boykin. Is he even with a team right now?

You keep going on about my narrative, but what about yours?

Alright look. How about this. You're a good enough dude. If I offer you a truce, and you can agree to not talk down on Philly Brown at least until after he has played a full season, I will play nice, and not mention your past gaffes anymore. But you have to hold up your end of it here. Deal?

Not really.  If you think that teams would be clamoring to pick up any of our receivers at the moment,  then you'd probably be wrong.

If you think that Brown, Cotch, or Ginn wouldn't get picked up by some NFL team...then you can't be helped.

If you consider saying that he needs to be way more productive and consistent,  and then discussing his paltry stats as a means to point out this fallacy about some evolution after one game out of seven,  is talking down about Brown rather than speaking the truth, then you have the problem.

If you and others stop trying to sell me snake oil and being adulterated homers about Brown and our bottom feeding receiver corps for the remainder of the season---stop trying to shoot sunshine up our collective asses about our world class receiving corps,  like you have done for years---then I will stop. Deal?

It's the same old shat this year,  except Cam,  Stew,  and the defense are good enough to compensate for it.

Wait, what? Who in the blue blazes has referred to our WR corps as anything close to "world class"?

Hell, I said numerous times that we should have considered trading for an established WR to make a Super Bowl run.

Also, I literally said in my first reply to this thread that he does need to do this more consistently.

I made a very fair offer, you went on yet another long winded, and irrational rant about Brown again.

So you can accept all those reasonable terms, or not.

Your posts don't end with this thread,  and it certainly doesn't address what I just said.

This may be the biggest straw man argument I have ever seen attempted.

Oh but your random rant perfectly, and reasonably addressed mine then huh?

I meant what I said, and the offer still stands. I tried at least. Enjoy your afternoon sir.

    • They are 1 and 9 against the  Bucs in the past 10 games. the Panthers go as young goes.  QB1 ‘s are suppose to dictate and overcome  and elevate Everything the QB does affects every part of the team and Bryce is uneven. Canales and Bryce have  an uneven relationship too  as for Evero, the only thing that might save him is the injury to Baker’s left shoulder and oline injuries. I don’t even know how he is out there   I really feel their season ended last Sunday Canales’ division record isn’t great   Getting owned by the Saints and Bucs isn’t a good look
    • Frankly surprised by the amount of people that want to hang Evero. This was a defense that was almost universally considered the bottom of the barrel before this season started. We’ve managed to stat our way to the middle of the pack whatever that means. Those critical of the zone schemes, what do you want? When even JC is getting burnt one on one by Olave you have little choice. There definitely have been moments where the zone blitz stuff has bit us. That said, are the third string linebackers (and nick Scott) covering poo anyway? This unit had only conceded 10 points going into the fourth quarter despite a litany of bullshit penalties on both sides. Them over performing is the biggest reason we are still in playoff contention.
