Do not judge Matt Moore on this performance...

Down that many points so late in the game is a death wish for any QB walking in. All the eagles had to do was pin their ears back and get after the QB, no worries of a run game at all.

Just an FYI, don't do it.

you can also look to 07 to back that up. When a QB is brought into garbage time, defenses have their ears pinned back and QBs are gambling to make big plays. Moore looked so so in those moments in 07 put clearly showed the confidence and potential in that garbage time. When starting he went 2-1 against what were all divsion winners. If not for some questionable calls against Dallas....Moore could have easily gone 3-0. When given the game and playing real football.....Moore imo is the best option on our roster. We can win with Moore. Fox flushed the 07 season down the toliet in 07 before clearly going with the obvious option........the obvious option is still here....let's hope he goes to Moore week #2 instead of wasting another year going to Dehlomme, Josh, and then finally with Moore after the season and done and he shows what a mistake it was...........again.

Agreed he had a really crappy game and I'm having doubts about him, but the first pick wasn't his fault, fumble caused by unblocked LB (agreed, should have thrown it away) and another pick caused by no blocking up front. It cracks me up how so many people want to throw the most successful QB the Panthers have ever had out to the trash for 2 bad games. I'm more pissed at Fox and his gameplanning. The run is working, so abandon it after the first TD. I'll give Jake 2 games to right things and if not, I'm all for Moore.

    • At least Rivera got the Super Bowl, and then lost is because he refused to adjust.  Rod’s likely will never get to the Stanley Cup unless the team he coaches is stacked and can overcome Rods weird decisions making.
    • Reddit has one of the most toxically positive fan base. You cannot criticize the team at all. If you do downvoted.
    • We've literally seen him hop around the pocket to survey the field in multiple occurrences. Defenses have this on tape. Cam and QB's like him built the way he was height and strength wise could get by on those natural gifts in their prime. Bryce Young is unequivocally going to have to go above and beyond with his footwork in order to carve out not just a long career but an elite career worthy of a top overall draft selection. We should be able to wholeheartedly agree with one another on that. Intermediate sideline throws without placing the ball out of bounds where the receiver has to contort themselves or make an absurd acrobatic catch for it to be a completion. And yes developing a better chemistry in the deep passing game with his receivers to avoid miscues. Both areas will need to see improvement if the young offense is to develop the way we hope in 2025. And we don't necessarily need to be winning mind you. But development of the supporting cast requires this from Bryce. We have invested a ton of capital in the offensive line. We've invested heavily in WR. We've invested in our backfield. We've invested in TE. We've got a young up and coming offensive minded head coach. The expectation should be for our redzone efficiency to improve significantly. That is not just on Bryce Young. But at the end of the day it will always begin and end with him more often than not. It's always been that way and that's just the nature of the position in this league. And not for nothing but before we drafted Bryce Young nobody was going around here saying we need elite play across the board and top shelf coaching for him to be effective. His biggest selling point was his ability to succeed off script and make something out of nothing. We're certainly going to have to see that come to fruition. Now we wait.
