Im sick of hearing about arizona already. Media even says they are a more complete team than us. Everyone says we will be 1 and done and lose to them. We only beat them last year cuz of 3rd string qb. yada yada yada.

Too bad as it stands right now, we couldnt play them until the nfc champ game.

We beat zona last year tho,

But I do see where you are coming from

That was different. They weren't at full strength, and we snuck into the playoffs. This year, it would be a highly anticipated match up between the NFC's two best teams. I would want nothing more to blow the Cards out in that kind of game to go to the Super Bowl.

IMO our 2008 team was our strongest top to bottom. Peppers and Beason in their prime on defense, a powerful offensive line with Jeff Otah of all people barralling people over for the best running tandem in the league, prime Smith on the outside with Muhammad on the other side. This team looked to be a heavy Super Bowl favorite before the Delhomme shitshow. I think to this day that that game costed us our first Lombardi. Is there a better scenario than beating Arizona in the NFCCG before finishing off the Tom Brady era by beating the Pats in the Super Bowl?

If you would have went to the Pro Bowl last year you wouldn't need to post about revenge against Arizona.  Nearly every Cardinals fan in that stadium (about 70% of fans) recognized my Carolina blue Davis jersey and how it ended their season.  There were a few people who vehemently made sure that I knew that they didn't like Carolina for ending their playoffs.  It was kind of funny after awhile when you'd notice people faces the instant they turned around and saw a Panthers jersey.  You could just see in their faces the hatred was still there, but they weren't mean about it in any way at all.   In the end though we all came together to drown the stadium announcer out with BOOOOOOOOS when they introduced Seattle as they arrived during the game.  After seeing how much we all shared our hatred for Seattle they even began to share in the LUUUUUUUUKE chants.

I meet a bunch of Arizona fans last year in Denver as well when Peyton threw his 500th TD against them as the unbeaten Broncos faced the unbeaten Cardinals.  Heck of a game and both teams have really great fan bases.  I have absolutely no ill will towards wanting revenge against them even though I cussed them up a storm as I walked out of the stadium in 2008, haha.  I don't care who we'd need to beat just not cheering for a revenge game.   I suppose I do agree with you on beating AZ in the NFCCG as I sort of root for them over other NFC teams now.

As far as Brady, I feel like we got revenge 2 years ago when we beat them on prime time.  It shut all the bandwagon Patriot fans up at least.  The sooner they lose in the playoffs the better.

I was at the Pro Bowl too. I live in Arizona and their fans are pretty tolerable for the most part since we both hate the Seahawks and Cowboys. That being said, theyre on their high horse this year and we need to put them in their place

I hope it's not just revenge that is motivating our team. I hope they are focusing on winning just for the thrill of victory, because eventually you run out of reasons to hate [insert team here] . Play smart football, play tough football, play with passion and intensity, but not only because of revenge.

Has anyone considered that we might be in Arizona's revenge plans this year?

Why do we need a revenge tour? The best form of revenge and to have the league take notice is to win a superbowl, if we can also go undefeated then that is icing on a great cake.

Agreed.  Our playoff victims can be St. Louis, Minnesota, and the Texans for all I care.
