Panthers Fan Gets Choked By Security, Thrown Out Of Game For “Cheering”

I saw a Redskins fan being ejected by two cops last week I don't know what started it but I did see the fan shove the first policeman. I assure you the cop did not put him in any sort of neck hold. He knew what he was doing and had him restrained real quick. This security guy clearly didn't that's for sure.  Where the hell were the police?

I talked to some Panthers fans after the game about it who sat in that area. According to them the ejection was well deserved and the guy was completely out of line. They didn't say anything about throwing stuff on the field, but that he was really drunk, unruly and being a jackass, talking trash and inciting fights.

Another reason why you should travel to away games in groups....safety in numbers.

This message brought to you by the leader of the number one fan base in the NFL.

Be respectful, cheer your team and travel in numbers. Good advice if you ask me.

Jesus you're one of those guys

Yep,,,God forbid someone say we don't know all the facts.  Instead let's just fill in the holes with our own speculation and made up poo.  If this had been a cowboys fan at a Panthers game, you would be singing s different tune.

Great...you are one if those guys.  One that actually looks for facts.  You should be ashamed.

It doesn't matter what he was doing, that security guard was using deadly force by choking the fan and not letting go.

Choking a guy is not deadly force. It's a technique used to stop blood from going to the brain and make him pass out. It's also used to gain compliance.

Only time it would be considered deadly force is when you use your arm, while using a similar technique, to break his trachea.

I'm NOT defending the guy, just pointing out that your wrong.

Thank goodness for that Bears fan, pulling security's arms off the Panthers fan's neck. It might've been worse. Nice, new stadium & Cowboy fans still want to be like Eagles fans. Geez.

Exactly what I was thinking. This is terrifying and needs attention. I hope those guys get fired and honestly criminal charges should be looked at.

Maybe so, but it doesn't justify the choke hold. Of course madhatter would like this post. ugh

Interesting to note the people around him thought it was way too much force and tried to step in. Seriously how anyone can watch that video and be OK with that boggles my mind. Of course i've seen posters defended some seriously disturbing police videos.

They say 1 in 100 people are psychopaths I think I've spotted some on  this board.

Well played.....you corporate yummy

Ha....well it's true. I can guarantee you that if he was with our group then 1) he wouldn't have gotten out of line enough to get escorted out. We would have nipped that stuff.  And 2) he wouldn't have been wrongfully choked out (if that was the case).

    • Chances of a 5th rounder becoming a solid starter are below 10%. I don't really understand why people are butthurt over giving that up. Sure hate the pick, but the trade was fine.
    • He's going to be fun for interviews with his accent, love it! Will he be a good play?  Who knows.  It's up to Morgan and Canales to maximize his talent.  I understand picking up the 5th year option, especially looking at the WR contracts hitting $30 million a year. As fans, we can never know what a team is thinking.  We can only look at it like a fan.  Morgan said XL has the dawg in him.  We'll see if that's the right choice.  There's a lot more to the NFL draft than YouTube cut-up highlights.  The medicals, interviews, and coaching backgrounds go a long way to figuring this out. Couple of things.  This is the Jordan Palmer flag football game where NFL players (including Bryce Young and DJ Metcalf) play for charity.  Who was Bryce throwing it to?  DK.  Interesting.... Is this my crazy brain connecting the dots?  No.  I just think it's interesting to see.  Just interesting that Steve Smith Sr. said that XL reminded him of DK in a few ways...  Though it was hilarious seeing this giant human being play flag football with weekend warriors.   Will XL be a hit?  I don't know.  But it's going to be entertaining one way or another.  It's not my job to make the picks, thankfully.  The criticism is very valid after years of poor drafting.  We need to see the improvement on the field.
    • You might not like the player but you can’t be upset with the move considering WR contacts
