Outlaw Gloves? Not fair to former players?

PEDs are dumb.

It's kinda like NASCAR. What's the difference between all the cars running at 160mph or 170mph? The fans can't really tell the difference. The only thing you are doing is wearing out the engines faster, burning more fuel and wearing down tires faster.

If everyone was juicing, the game would be marginally faster, but at what cost? This game already takes an incredible toll on the human body, so why add to the damage with these PEDs?

I never understood how these professionals drop passes considering how sticky the gloves are.

If you haven't tried them out, you should so you can understand what I'm saying.

The only thing I can't think of is that they have SO MUCH GRIP that the way you catch the ball fells unnatural from a physics perspective.

Normally you would position your hands for the ball softly "slide" into place. You anticipate the speed of the ball and adjust accordingly.

With these gloves, there is no slide. As soon as the ball touches the glove, the movement of the ball stops, so you have to catch the ball where you want your hands to end up.

Instead of a soft catch without gloves, you trap the ball with gloves.

Your hands have to touch the ball milliseconds after when you would naturally want to, otherwise you would always catch the tip of the ball.

Hope this description makes some sense lol.

    • I'd give Bryce until the trade deadline to prove he's the answer and if he's not I'm dumping him for whatever pick we can get and I'm riding with Dalton the rest of the way.  2 and a half years is enough time to determine if he can be the QB going forward so for Bryce he needs to come out over the next couple of weeks and show that. The other players in the locker room don't wanna waste another year of their careers waiting to see if you'll ever figure it out.  If you took a poll of the players in the locker room I'm sure they'd rather lose with a respected veteran Dalton who at least gives them some creditability versus losing with Bryce who the entire media will say was let down by his supporting cast when in reality it's Bryce's physical limitations that are holding this team back.
    • I agree that he should’ve never been the pick at 1. In my 44 years I’ve never seen a team invest that much in a QB who is my size. I’m not meant for the NFL and neither is he.    Accepting we can’t change the past, I think it’s the correct call to keep playing him hoping that he will prove us wrong. I think we were dumb not to draft a QB this past year and let him learn and compete but that’s our reality.    I’m hoping this is the last year with the BY experiment and he deliverers us 1. To the playoffs or 2. The number one pick and we draft a real QB.
    • In his first interview after the surgery he sounded absolutely miserable.  Man that must beat you down to have that done
