STRENGTHS WEAKNESSES

STRENGTHS: Good-sized frame for the position and doesn't shy away from contact. He has a nose for the ball and goes after it in the air, matching up well with receivers to break up the play at the catch point. WEAKNESSES: Needs to clean up his tackling technique, too often just throwing his shoulder and getting lazy. After a sophomore season that put him on the NFL radar, Young took a step back in 2012 as a junior, struggling with off-field issues, injuries and maddening inconsistencies. PLAYER OVERVIEW

A three-year starter at Georgia Tech, Young finished his career with 134 tackles, four interceptions and 12 pass break-ups while starting 34 of 49 career games.He played in 12 games as a reserve cornerback and special teams contributor as a true freshman before entering the starting lineup as a sophomore. Young started all 12 regular-season games in 2011 before being suspended for the team's bowl game due to a violation of team roles. He finished with 52 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, one interception and five pass break-ups.Young started nine of 12 games he appeared in as a junior, missing one game with an injury and finishing the season with 32 tackles, one interception, one fumble recovery and two pass break-ups.He returned to start all 13 games as a season, recording 40 tackles and two interceptions.
