Not that it matters but I'm confused..How are the Falcons in the hunt still?

Even if they won the next two and Vikings lost the next two, Vikings would STILL hold head to head tiebreaker over them and Seahawks already locked up on WC spot.. NFL.com however still has the Falcons as "in the hunt" but how is this possible when the Seahawks already locked up on WC spot and even if both the Falcons and Vikes finish 9-7 Vikes have tiebreakers.

If falcons win out, and both seattle and minnesota lose - then there is a possibility that the falcons could still be in due to obscure tiebreaking.

According to ESPN Playoff Machine - that would put the Falcons at the 5th seed, SEA at #6, MIN out of the picture.

In a 3-way tie, head-to-head tiebreakers don't matter. My understanding is that it would then come down to strength of schedule. ATL currently has the toughest (because they played an undefeated team twice....). 

However, this only matters if ATL, SEA and MIN all end up tied at the end of the season.
