Ain't nothing off limits for trash talk. I used to talk whatever trash I could to throw people off their games. I played SS because I wasn't fast enough to be a DB or big enough to be a LB. If I found out something personal about you that's could use as trash to get in your head, it was gonna happen. 

My older brother tried to legit kill me once with a Swiss Army knife while we were camping because I got in his head so bad during a game of fuging badminton. 

If Odell let words turn him into a raging psychopath, then every lousy DB in the NFL just got a blueprint of how to cover a superstar better than any game film ever will.

Some of you are demonstrating the very lack of maturity you're condemning.

Doesn't matter what his sexuality is and any of you trying to explain his behavior by an appeal to weird prejudices or stereotypes of gay people are idiots.  Dude lost his cool in a game. 

Remember what Smitty used to do to opposing corners?  Same thing.  Happens all the time.

I remember when Ron was the Chargers defensive co ordinator and whats his name.. the quarterback of chicago oh yeah Rex Grossman... "He called him a Mental Midget"

 

Ron hasn't changed one bit... he is the same guy over and over he is just reserved in public. 

Ron is going for 16 - 0 regardless of the Playoff outcome but i know our greedy brother wants it ALL... he has been denied for TOO DAMN LONG... Chicago Sandiego and now with Carolina ...

      There's only two paths to that happening. First is that Theilen misses a significant chunk of the season, the other is that XL and Coker both either flop or have injuries themselves. I love the pickup of Renfrow as I think he'll be great in the locker/film room for all the young guys while giving us a natural replacement of Thielen in the WR room next year to be the wiley old vet in the room. But he has almost no path to getting snaps this year unless the guys ahead of him have injuries or just suck.  Assuming he makes he squad, he's more likely to be inactive more often than he's active on game days.   And he's not the best route runner on the team, that's still Thielen, who even at this point in his career is still one of the better route runners in the league.

      I'll go ahead and say it because the average poster is too scared to say it.  Hunter Renfrow is the best route runner on the team.  He will catch more balls than a couple of those dudes added together.  It's Short King season!   Get on the wagon while there are still seats available!

      But that's the WR4 this year, we only have one year left of Thielen. If Coker has injury issues and/or regresses and shows why he went undrafted, unless Horn ends up REALLY living up to the minicamp hype, we'd actually end up in need of another good WR option next offseason again. I love the potential of T-Mac, XL, Coker, Horn as our 1-4 next year and into the future. And while I of course have a million percent belief that T-Mac is going to be that guy for us, it's still a big year for the rest of the WR room to prove we're set at the position for the foreseeable future once Thielen is gone after the season.
