Cam Newton

This was the expression on Cam's face the entire game. If you think that's "normal" for him, please check your eyesight and memory. His poor play coincided with this look. WTF happened to him in Atlanta this week?

This is not the look of a man who just became a father and was happy enough about it to leave work for the birth.

Dear Heavenly God. You guys need to be following soap operas or boy bands instead of football.

How did Cam play today?

Was this the expression on his face?

Are facial expressions indicators of what's going on in the mind?

Does a player's mind affect his play on the field?

Do you have a clue?

Anyone who thinks this game was about one guy is an idiot.

Hooker?   Have  you seen that woman?

Hooker, stripped whatever. He could of gotten anyone he wanted. She is hot for sure, but she is the definition of a "gold digger". It is his life, but I hope he raises the child on his own and finds a real women. Someone giving lap dances is not a real women.

I can't believe it took him this long to make this thread, it's all he talked about in the game posts

Cam Newton was not Cam Newton today. As a player who puts his emotions out there for all to see who is normally smiling and having fun even when it's close, the fact that THIS IS HOW HE LOOKED should've been what anyone with a clue was talking about, especially when he wasn't playing like he normally does.

Abnormal expression + abnormal play = worth talking about.

Is the weather decent all the way up there on your high horse?

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
