Not entirely valid. Alex Van Pelt isn't exactly a new kid on the block. He was QB coach prior to this, has spent a fair share of time in the AFC East (so he knows his opponents) and isn't running his own playbook.

Not saying Davidson did well yesterday, mind you, but Alex Van Pelt isn't really just a guy "ten days into the job".
