Atlanta game may be good for Delhomme

I have been thinking that getting out of BOA stadium may be what Delhomme needs to get his mojo back. I think it would be much more difficult for him to come out this Sunday at home to boos and heckles. Instead he can use the boos and hecles of the Atlanta fans to feed on.

May be just what the doctor ordered.

I hope so cause i dont see us having a winning season unless Delhomme can perform.

But you just said you want him to throw 3 interceptions. I don't understand.

Because if he throws 4 interceptions this game, they will have to replace him... Even Fox won't be able to keep him in there on 4 interceptions a game... and perhaps we can try out a QB who could be decent.

No let me repeat what I said.

If Delhomme throws 1+ interceptions before he has a TD pass or the second half, then I will cheer him to throw more, so that we can get him out of their for good. However, if me manages the game, even if it's 201 yards 0 TD's 0 Int's or even 1 TD and 1 Int, I will be happy.

Im just tired of multiple sack fumbles, and interceptions taking us out the game before half time.

    • would love it if Vegas were Week 5 (Oct 7).  Just throwing it out there with fingers crossed
    • I believe you are correct. Everyone remembers that record setting drubbing of the Broncos but that was the highlight of their season. They have very good coaching overall and they have a ton of talent. With a better QB they could have knocked off the Chiefs IMO. We aren't even in the conversation of the Dolphins until proven otherwise. We couldn't even get in the end zone against the lowly Chicago Bears. We got shutout and blown out by the CJ Beathard led Jaguars for fugs sake. We can't even compete with bad teams let alone run up the score on them. To me if I'm being completely realistic if I'm the GM and my job is on the line and I feel like Tua is Bryce Young's ceiling I'm drafting QB in the first round next year unless he just magically has a season like Stroud did last year. That's it. I'm genuinely not trying to be abrasive about this it just gets really mind numbing eventually that we keep lowering the bar down down down down down and it's like hey it's fine to have expectations. And if you have a young QB in his prime and he isn't giving you at least prime Jake Delhomme arm talent it's time to keep looking for a QB.
    • Not exactly.  They show that Jones was making the most of the opportunities he had.  I was never a fan of his, but I think that the talent level in NE last year is somehow escaping the massive negative attention it should have received.  That team was terrible - especially the talent and coaching on offense - and everyone was still afraid of the wrath of hoodie. He'll have a chance to restart his career at some point.  He was a middle of the pack QB as a rookie.  Plenty of teams out there would love to make it up to middle of the pack at QB.
