Is it totally wrong that I was a little disappointed that I didn't see a Ciara / Russell Wilson joke when I opened this thread?

Once that wore off, though, it's neat to see stuff like this still happening between the NFCCG and SB.  Gettleman was a great pick for GM

I'm gonna disagree with you here.

The Giants had a 125 page game plan to beat the then undefeated Patriots back when they played. Gettleman was one of the guys that helped put that game plan together.

He's not just a talent scout. When he was in New York, he also worked scouting opponents for upcoming games.

Knowing he has experience doing that - and good results - I'd definitely take advantage of it.
