It would be sick if we still had Barnidge.

Barnidge was a player Hurney liked to take the #2 TE spot.

Gettleman chose to let Barnidge walk in favor of the Brandon Williams project. When that failed the Panthers gave Dickson the money that would have kept Barnidge in Charlotte. Should have kept Barnidge. Chalk another mistake up for management.

Lol!!!!! You can't be serious! The stats Barnidge puts up is due to the Browns having a pathetic run game and one half way viable WR. He is Gettis when Smitty was injured

Oh please, I'm happy for him that he is doing well for himself now with the Browns of all teams. But he had 320 yards, and 1 touchdown through four seasons as a Panther. Let's not act like he was a perennial pro bowler or something when we released him.

Hurney knew. McCown knew. Chud knew. Gettleman missed the boat oh this one.

I can only assume that you are being highly sarcastic right now, at least I hope so.

One season does not make a career anyway. Remember a guy named Peyton Hillis who also played for the Browns?
