Honestly, he was out with friends in a private setting trying to eat dinner. If your daughter wanted to tell him good luck then after they said no pictures you accept it and ask if your children can say good luck. If no, let it go. I live in the same building with several players and see several more out and about regularly. If you say hey and they acknowledge you its perfectly ok to say good luck or chat a bit. If they go on with their day you just go about your business. No matter how much they love football it is still their job and nobody wants to talk about and live work all the time.

a private setting is not a take out diner

if he were actually the guy you think he is he would be able to say, I'm sorry, I'm busy, thank you.

but this collides with the image of him giving balls in the stands. Its all staged for your entertainment.

if he was so worried about being recognized ,he wouldnt be out.

None of these jocks give a damn about the fans. Some may be nicer guys but admiring any of them is a waste of time.

That includes Peyton Manning. All of them. They are in it for money and fame, not to say hi to your children or you.

shut your shit useless

Tell ya what. Next time you're out with friends doing something whether its picking up waffle house to go or buying hipster jeans I'm going to come up and interrupt the conversation you guys are having to ask you about work. I'm sure your a cam hater so my logic won't appeal to you but reasonable people will know whats up. I have several friends that have met cam around town and the stories I hear are that he's a nice guy as long as you engage him as a human and not treat him like an object most of the time

Complete, total, utter bullshit.  From personal experience Cam is not staged, what you see is what you get.  And I would not bother him this week of all weeks.  For the love of Pete.  Mid-March?  Sure.  This is hump day before the MF'n Golden Super Bowl!!!!

lol how old are you? why the personal attack over a very rational adult assessment of the situation?

I dont worship young jocks because they catch balls on tv

altruism on and off the field is in no way impacted by whether a guy signs autographs for every swinging dick that peeks under a bathroom stall while he's taking a poo. you're imposing a retarded binary on a topic you clearly know nothing about.

your troll act is obnoxious and it'll last until you get bored or banned

nothing you said applies to me or makes any sense. Having a view you dont like or cant understand, isnt trolling.

the OP should learn these are just on field actors in a way and the children should stop admiring overpaid jocks.

No offense but no one is here for your kids entertainment 24 / 7.  When I lived in Orlando and was a huge Shaq fan ( yes I was a kid at the time ) I once saw him at a restaurant my family was eating at.  I asked my Mom if I could get an autograph and she told me that it would be rude of us to go up to him and disturb him while he was eating with his family  ( or friends ).  I was a pretty bright kid and understood boundaries long before that time but it made me realize that they are just people too.  Good lesson my mom taught me that day.  Not saying you are not a good parent but Cam owes you or your children absolutely nothing.

    • To kick this up, The Athletic has a really comprehensive piece out where pretty much all QB questions are addressed. It is worth seeing.  https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7083539/2026/03/04/starting-quarterback-projections-free-agency-draft/?source=user_shared_article I’m putting something specific here but it should have a thread or something. It is an extensive exercise.  This is a dense write up with a lot of column inches used, about the Jets and Murray and Reich, all this stuff.. then it goes to backup QB and there is Dalton.  I am pasting that part: As for Dalton, Reich is installing the offense he was trying to run in Carolina in 2023 before he got fired, and Dalton was with the Panthers then; he’s an ideal option as a veteran backup to replace Taylor. Reich said this about Dalton in 2023: “The way he's throwing the football, the way he works through progressions, the way he handles the operation. … Since day one (when) he walked in the door, I'm like, 'This guy is starter-worthy.' You guys know I've said that all along. He's, in my opinion, one of the best 32 quarterbacks in the world.” ——— That’s true love lol. I never heard any of this. Pretty crazy I think, considering how the year went.   Anyway the dream is not dead. .
    • The Seahawks traded for wide receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline. He proved to be a key acquisition. Shaheed returned a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns in the regular season and had a 95-yard kickoff return in the postseason. Shaheed, though, is scheduled for free agency. So, the 12 games he played, including the postseason, might be the extent of his time in Seattle. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Shaheed and the Seahawks are not close to an extension, and the expectation is that the two-time Pro Bowler will hit free agency. Shaheed has 153 receptions for 2,243 yards and 12 touchdowns in his four-year career to go along with three punt return touchdowns and a kickoff return touchdown. He ranks 13th on PFT’s top-100 free agents. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-rashid-shaheed-appears-headed-to-free-agency
