I'm here all night to defend Cam..

I'm pissed at the local media for lying about how Cam's post game press conference went down.

I saw his press conference and some local media members claimed they couldn't hear what he was saying which is a bunch of BS!

It's amazing that I see the national media defending him, but the local media is lying and putting him on blast.

I can defend the fact that we wouldnt even be playing in the superbowl for yall to b*tch about one play Simms got yall up in arms about..

Simms? I have eye balls, I saw Cam hesitate and not jump on the ball.

No way does that diminish Cam's season in any way.

But to be a homer so much that you can't criticize your QB when he fugs up, you have the problem and need to get some perspective on life.

I got to be to work at 7 but I dont give a sh*t....I'll sit here all night and defend my QB who gave his all in 18 games this season..

The sh*tty threads going at Cam are made by cowards..you cheer for that dude all season and then want to go at him because we lost..

Our fan base can be quite trifling..

I got ya back bruh

Tonight just proved the only reason we got to the super bowl was because we had Cam. This was a game we needed Kelvin Benjamin. WR talent was finally exposed. Refs were also ignorant and biased.

Thank you. This offense must get a dynamic play maker.

Cam Newton should not be our only dynamic player on offense. Literally, the only thing defenses fear is Newton.

That cannot continue to be so into the future. We must start building a team that reflects the awesome ability of our QB.

and the Panthers got his back too..

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/02/07/panthers-teammates-circle-the-wagons-around-cam-newton/

“I don’t think we played well around him,” tight end Greg Olsen said, rattling off a laundry list of their problems moments before Newton conducted a solemn-and-brief press conference. “I don’t think by any means this is all him.

“We can’t turn this into the ‘What’s wrong with Cam Newton?’ show.”

Panthers coach Ron Rivera was also careful to note the protection problems (six sacks) and drops that plagued his team when asked about his quarterback.

“When he had the opportunity to make plays he had plays,” Rivera said. “I’d like to see what would have happened if he had more time.”

While the Panthers offensive breakdowns were multiple, Newton’s reaction to them is going to be dissected for weeks and months to come. While he had seemingly pushed through some of his early career PR difficulties, his reaction to a bad night on the game’s biggest stage is going to bring them back.

And clearly, that’s a concern for a team that for too long had to listen to talk about body language and questions about his leadership.

“We all have areas we can grow,” veteran wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery said when asked about Newton’s reaction. “He has his friends and his family and they’ll say what they need to say to him, . . .

“It’s hard. Guys are dealing with it the best way they can.”

Cotchery had his own issues, as his drops and the drops of others were alongside the protection issues that led to the beating that left Newton mumbling one-word replies.

But as the league’s MVP and the face of the franchise, Newton’s reaction will be a storyline until he has a chance to change it.

Cam had an amazing season and a poor game in the Super Bowl. The NFL is a team game. We saw Palmer and Brady have fantastic years and (Palmer especially) come down to earth in their final games.

There's really nothing to defend. The Broncos had an outstanding defense, we couldn't protect Cam, passes were dropped, throws were off. It happens.

We win and lose as a team. We got outplayed. Deal with it like we made other teams deal with our success. We'll be back and Cam will be the one leading us back.

Cotchery had 20 drops. Tolbert fumbled. Brown dropped a ball. Too much. Anyone blaming Cam tonight doesn't have a hot clue

Yeah this loss took a whole team effort...well not team effort because I thought the defense played pretty damn good.  Cam was why we were in the position we were in...still you gotta jump on that ball Cam.

Cam poo the bed. You're apparently one of those people who became a fan after he was drafted. Yes, he's been great all season but he was at his absolute worst tonight. Everyone claims he's the team leader, well he sure as poo didn't show it tonight.

You obviously didn't watch tonight's game, which is fine, so I'll help you out here.

It is quite difficult to "show you're a team leader" when three defensive players are draped all over you half a second after receiving the snap. Six pre-snap penalties on OL that back you up into -and long situations do not help matters, either. Nor do nine drops and two Tolbert fumbles.

I back Cam,  apreciate Cam,  rekize we wouldnt be poo without him

But i just have to admit im a bit disapointed about not jumping on the ball and his post game presence and walking out.

I have no idea what its like to be in his shoes so ill leave it at that

Cam is my QB and i would pick him over any other. Im proud of him and what this team accomplished this year. 17-2 and we can get MUCH BETTER
