For what we gave up, it's not a bad trade.  Roberts hasn't done much, 2nd rounders are basically worthless, and it seems like PJ was never gonna be anything for this more than he already is.  Lee is pretty good on defense but offensively, he doesn't do a lot.  He does shoot 38% from 3 for his career so there is that.

I doubt the Hornets and Miami both sent two 2nd rounders to Memphis. I think it was Miami that sent the picks, not us.

And those 2 players and 2 picks had close to zero value and were never going to be re-signed anyway.

It's been obvious literally since day one that the Hornets had buyer's remorse on a head case in Hairston, and Lin made Roberts obsolete.

So, on the surface, this looks like a redundant trade, but i'm guessing from this tweet, it was more about us getting rid of PJ than anything else.
