Please remind me of the last game Loser Jake did not throw a interception in a game? How far does it go back to?

This game was a good game he did better but he is not the 4th quarter come back king any longer. Its been a long time since he could do that.

Tell me again why is he still QB? And Fox is coach? Bring it Bill Cowher!!

Offense cannot hide sorry as defense...it's a fact, for what it's worth what you see from jake is what you get if he plays like he did today for the rest of the season and our defense magically improves were all good.

This game was still not good by Delhomme imo. He could've had other TO's but we were lucky they didnt catch the balls thrown. He did make good passes but they didnt mean anything because we didnt score at the end of the drive.

What makes it really bad is when we need a score at the end of the game, he threw an interception. That really made me mad. It would be an ok game if he didnt do that.

Munkey said it.

Jake had a good game. Move on to the next scapegoat, you effin' bandwagoners.

correct-a-mundo amigo. jake threw for 308 yds. 1 td and 1 int. defense, well, they decided that playing soft pass defense was the way to go making matt ryan look like freakin payton manning. in my humble opinion, enough with the scapegoating...our team showed they can make the game competitive...retool, learn from mistakes and beat those freakin fine young male dallas cowboys next monday

Ammofan, he didn't have other TO's, so the fact that he could have is irrelevant because no where in the stats is there an "almost TO" column. His good passes didn't mean anything? It shows improvement. It shows hes not the washed up QB you guys are ready to crucify him as.

We needed a score at the end of the game largely because our defense and a turnover by DeAngelo Williams required it, and Jake was trying to make a play. 4th and 10 and he did what he could. GTFOH.

Seriously.

Those are the kinds of ints I can be ok with from Jake. He was trying to force it because he had no where else to go and the game was on the line. It's the fumbles and the crazy throw aways that drive me crazy(which almost happened again this week).

The defense and special teams lost this game. Remember when a Fox coached team that scored 20 points was almost unbeatable?

The one thing that I DIDN'T like about that INT is that Jake had all the time in the world, he was looking at Steve the entire time and he didn't throw Steve the ball until he stood still and stared Delhomme back in the eyes.

A good QB would have thrown it while Steve was faking right and breaking back left. Houston had time to do 3 backflips and then INT the ball because Jake either doesn't know the route or was too scared.

Why is it we always have to score at the end of the game and Im not a new comer maybe to this site but not in the game of watching Carolina play and pulling for them since day 1.

We always seem tp wait until the end of the game to win or the forth quarter to come back to win. Thats non-sence do that at the get go. No this game was partly defense's fault but Jake should not wait until the end of the game to make his move.

    • Link to article Seven players mentioned are... ILB Mark Robinson (PIT) - 2022 seventh round pick that was a core special teams player and was productive in the final preseason game vs. CAR (3 TKLs, 1 FF, 1 FR). Undersized at 5'11" 235 lbs.  CB O'Donnell Fortune (NYG) - UDFA rookie out of South Carolina (and a Sumter native). 6'1", 185lbs frame fits the Panthers' preference for long and lanky CBs. Panthers' evaluators got a lot of time with him during the Shrine Bowl, his pro day, and the combine. CB Damarri Mathis (DEN) - 2022 fourth-round pick that played for Evero his rookie season at 5'11" 195lbs both inside and outside. Did well under Evero (16 games, 11 starts, 65 TKLs, 7 PBUs) but slid down the depth chart after he left. Started just seven of 27 games the last two seasons. DB Dean Clark (NYJ) - Fresno State UDFA with good size (6'1" 205lbs) and preseason production (5 TKLs, 1 INT, 2 PBUs) that can also play special teams. The Panthers have claimed a player from the Jets in each of the past two seasons (having also played the Jets both times in preseason though). OLB Brennan Jackson (LAR) - 2024 fifth-rounder that notched three sacks in the preseason. Played special teams and rotated in on defense that could potentially be an upgrade from DJ Johnson. DB Beau Brade (BAL) - 2024 UDFA that appeared in 11 games and played 70% of the special teams snaps. Has the size (6'0" 209lbs) that the team covets at safety. K Ben Sauls (PIT) - 24yrs old and went four-for-four against Carolina in preseason. Made 21 of 24 FGs during his final college season at Pitt.
