BC to retire Kuechly's Jersey

Recommended Posts

None of our players are a lock for the hall of fame. You have to play at a very high level for a long time to make the HOF. The closest right now are ex-panthers Steve Smith and Julius peppers.  Cam for example may one day be considered a HOF QB but not yet by a long shot. Guys like Brees, Brady and Rodgers are all way ahead of Newton. Now if we win a few Superbowls that could change.

Congrats to Luuuuke!

Speaking of potential HOF'er.  Something I found surprising... This season, if Frank Gore produces his average rushing production, he will pass the likes of: Thurman Thomas, Franco Harris, Marcus Allen, Marshall Faulk, Jim Brown and take Tony Dorsett's spot at #8 all time leading rusher. That's pretty much a lock.

Again, that was surprising to me.

    • Kinda wild they went into the season in the first place with no viable vet in the qb room, Nine didn't even play last year and they just assumed he would be Darnold 2.0 on day 1 or something. I'm sure they've pissed off Jefferson in the process lol.
    • Nine has looked like ass. I'd be terrified of giving Darnold serious guaranteed money on a long-term deal but the franchise tag seemed a viable option. Drafting McCarthy in the top 10 really backed them into a corner.
    • The Chiefs are done, have been done. Yet ref Vinovich had yet to call a single penalty on the Chiefs until Denver's final drive.  Mahomes and Kelce getting air time doing nothing and the announcing crew embarrassing themselves drooling over the Chiefs.
