I understand not wanting to hear Nate or Tony talk, but what's wrong with Kroger? He's actually a fan of the local teams and pretty knowledgeable.

Kroger does a great job.   I find Q entertaining...  

I've heard worse sports radio than some of the others on 610..

Must not be in range, bummer.  The only map I saw that included the station said the range was 7.5 miles.  I'm assuming that means 7.5 miles outside of Charlotte.

It's an FM translator. Small signal but covers most of Charlotte. Go to radio-locator.com and there you can see coverage maps for all radio stations

I used to really like him but he has grown tiresome to me over time. He spends too much time  being concerned with what general consensus is and preaching what it should be. Hes infatuated with wanting people in other places to think the Panthers (for example) are as good as he does. It's like a little brother syndrome. It's certain things he's says like people on the West coast not knowing where Charlotte was 15 years ago or the other day saying the Roaring Riot wouldn't exist before Cam when it clearly did.  He's young and doesn't have any perspective of anything more than 5 years ago it seems.  He doesn't annoy me to the extent the other 2 do but still.

And why they have Nate chime in and repeat himself over and over and then again on multiple shows is beyond me.

 QCB has become one of the better personalities at that station as odd as that may have once sounded.
