so everyone is caught up in training camp reports and worries about depth etc, but with the roster we have now, we are, I think, sitting in the top 5 of the league over 4 of the next 5 years in available cap space at somewhere between 24 mill and 27 mill.

A.  I don't know how dated these figures are, but

http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/carolina-panthers/cap/  shows out top 51 having 27.4 million available this year.

http://overthecap.com/salary-cap-space/ has us at 24 million available this year, 47 mill next year and  almost 100 mill the year after that.

Now I'm no expert on this kind of thing, and may be wrong, so if I am, I will gladly eat my crow pie.

 

But we have Cam and Luke locked up, and despite needing to sign a bunch of stars in the near future, somehow the Gutfather has put us in position to sign them.

BTW, we have 4 picks in the top 3 rounds of next year's draft.

This man has to be NFL Exec of the Year at some point.

With his track record on acquiring talent...
