Play Calling Awful

Why was play calling so bad? QB draws and tolbert handoffs after marching down the field passing to KB and Olsen...I just don't understand it. 2nd and 20 and an obvious Cam Newton draw for 5 yards. Over and over again.

Remmers sucks too. He's only good when he plays average/sub par DE's. He got beat by the backups. Sorry but it's just the truth. Just like how we couldn't make a tackle either.

Forcing the run game especially with the qb runs when we were passing the ball well made no sense. Shula is an awful tactician at on fly adjustments. And that may be why we may never win the big one.

You guys are downplaying Remmers too much. I think he did alright. Heck, he's won a few one on one matchups with Miller himself, and that's hard to do. The playcalling had Shula all over it. Really is a downer when you get outcoached, but it's the first game against the best defense in the league. Consider it a step up offensively as to what we can do.

Not to mention wasting timeouts and getting the play in. Isn't that was training camp and preseason is for? Why do we always struggle with it?

Dude, you forgot the subbing Fozzy in for a beasting Stewart on 3rd and 1 to start the 2nd half and doing a dumbass Cam bootleg sweep. Talk about getting cute, I almost threw my tv out the damn window

Also McDermott gets a little from me as well that cover three is easily beat with an average qb throwing and nickel on third and inches really??? Replace Boston for Thompson and play one high.. we really were outcoached AGAIN

God forbid we ask the rooks to press and potentially (likely) get beat from the veteran receivers off the LOS  they'll face this year. 

The rookies playing deep zones essentially kept this game from a potential blow-out. But yeah, they were pretty bad regardless.

I just want to know why on that third and one we don't use the QB sneak more. If little Brady can get a yard every time I'm sure Cam can.
