Well we have been victims of locally televised games for a long time but not anymore. When the MVP of the league take blow after blow to the head and nothing is done. Well now that's a storyline. Hope it keeps growing until they release the Cam Newton rule.

Especially since this wasin the NFL Season Opener, when we're the only game on TV and many who would normally never follow the Panthers were watching...

If this had been next Sunday in a 1 p.m. game against SF, it would have been much easier to lose in the shuffle.  As of now it has the advantage of being the only football game that's been played this season.

It's crazy how ppl say it would not have changed the outcome of the game. B freaking S.

At this point though, I have to be honest, I don't give a fug about the outcome of the game.  If we'd won, I truly think I would still be this disgusted.

At some point Cam's welfare became a much bigger concern than the game itself, even while the outcome of the game was still in doubt.  I was shocked he was still in the game, and horrified with each new hit.

I couldn't stop thinking of the gatorade commercial I'd just watched the morning of the game, that had a shot of Cam sittting with Chosen in his lap watching the TV coverage of the Super Bowl...,  I was wondering if Cam would be healthy enough and mentally competent enough to enjoy watching his son grow up and making memories with him.

I know that sounds a bit extreme, but honestly, head trauma is nothing to fug around with.  Repeated hits on top of a concussion are probably one of the worst things...

I am the same. I was thinking of he made that field goal I would not have jumped up for joy I still would have been pissed much like you. I hope I didn't sound like I didn't care about his health, because I do. He is the franchise and a good dude, it was disgusting watching that.

Due to simple math if you carry the 2, that puts at their 45 with a fresh set of downs. We moved the ball well we could have gotten in to fg range and get three at least. Guess what? That would have won the game at minimum chew up a lot of clock. Get real. We got hosed.

DUHH!

We've been concerned about the un-flagged hits on Cam since 2011.  Worried about his health since 2011.  I guess this is the first you've noticed.  Last night a possibly concussed Cam had a game winning drive end in a missed field goal because of officials with agendas.  Cam deserved that win!

When the 3rd hit happened I stopped thinking of winning or losing. It didn't matter. All I could do was think of Cam's health. I kept texting to my son, OMG OMG OMG save our QB! Then the last hit, that camera shot of his eyes, I wanted the game to end right then. Gano's FG didn't matter.

So I'm not at all upset that we lost. But I'm pissed as hell over the missed calls.
