Here's what they're saying on the Dallas board

I didn't get that vibe. One guy said it could be a trap game, and the rest pretty much said they should win this game no problem. Getting multiple sacks, INT's, etc. With Felix running all over us.

Cowboys fans are retarded. One of their sigs suggested that they actually think it's better to have been to the SB 8 times than to have won it 6. Wow.

Nobody thinks we'll win, but a few seem to think the Cowboys might lose. In other words, they all believe they're in control of the outcome.

Maybe we've given them a reason to think so? 7-1 lifetime regular season record against the Panthers maybe? The last time we beat them in the regular season was on a MNF game in 1997.

Think we're due? :)

i thnk so.

but, yeah, if we somehow pull this out with a W it will be said that the only reason was dallas lost it. it won't matter how well the panthers play, the cowboys are expected to be better by everyone. of course that has been the case for years now.

i don't care. i'm past the point of being incredibly upset at losing. i expect it more often than not even though i still have hope we can do better and still think it's possible things get turned the right way.

if we lose...ehhh....we probably should have. if we win, awesome. next best thing to a carolina win is a cowboy loss. if we can kill two birds with one stone all the better.

My sentiments exactly...

    • The preference for smallish NTs was bizarre to me. I mean, you're already looking for a bit of a unicorn with a NT anyway trying to find a guy who can consistently hold his ground against double teams. Now you want to find a smaller, quicker guy who can do it? Yeah, good luck with that...
    • Yep. I had 2 shoulder surgeries (same shoulder) in college. What you say is true because the joint is a ball-in-socket joint and not like a knee, which is a hinge joint.  Another reason (this from my orthopedic surgeon) it is more difficult to overcome is because people want and need to walk, so they are constantly rehabbing the knee.  You can protect the shoulder and avoid using it.  And you can play with a banged up shoulder because it does not reduce your game speed much.  As long as I kept my arm in tight (close to my rib cage) I was fine--but when I extended my arm, I felt vulnerable and it was weaker, it seemed. A shoulder issue was common with LBs.  I don't recall seeing a LB in the dressing room without a surgical scar on is shoulder.
    • F- pick. Taking a hurt RB is the dumbest thing a team starved for tallent could have done in the 2nd. As for planning for 2025, they could have just waited since he brought nothing to 2024. That entire argument that they were playing the long game is like such a copout, just admit it was busted from every angle. They bet poorly and lost. It was a dumb pick and a complete waste of a chance to pick up a meaningful player this team still desperately needs. Picks like that is why this team is picking top 10 ever y year.
