I have gotten to the point now i will just text you. It's quick, concise and to the point . If you call and don't leave a vm i don't bother replying. You do leave a vm then i text my answer.  Lol

I got friends who after 2 texts just have to call and I'm like come on man.

What says the Huddle?

Definite texter. Talking? With my phone? What's that about?

That would be like putting a clock on your phone so you don't have to look at a wrist watch, then making smart watches for your wrist so you don't have to look at your phone. It's insanity.

Old school here. I prefer talking. I have seen way too many people get upset by text messages that were meant to be funny but sarcasm doesn't come across a text very well sometimes. I also know of people who will say something blatantly mean on text and when called out on it they go with "I was just kidding" or something similar. I do text some but if the conversation goes much beyond just giving facts or info I dial the number just so everything is clear. If that person doesn't pick up or worse, tries to continue texting, they get no reply from me until they call.

Unless I'm walking someone thru removing a brain tumor or landing a plane because the pilot passed out,  I don't see what can be so hard to understand that we need a table for 5 and to order me a Copper before I get there.

Alot easier to text a aircraft then talking on the radio. Less distracting.

    • I dont think people realize how hard it is to find a consistent starting QB in the NFL. Byrce will not heart us to a SB but I do think he can manage to get us one or close..go all in on defense and change the Offensive passing game and play calls. I really think our biggest problem is our HC.  Take New Orleans QB for example, switch him and Bryce and I promise you it'll look similar or worse. New Orleans OC is levels ahead of Canales. And as far as the draft goes, in this division with as much rb talent as we face ..the answer...this guy:    Pick up a couple edge rushers in FA along with a corner and plug this guy in Rozeboom's spot. Defense solved. But only if we get a top tier rusher on that dline....jus saying
    • I think I'm going to the game in Los Angeles vs Paraguay, and the England / Croatia game here in Dallas since my mom is British.  For decent seats anywhere in the building(s) it looks like it will be upwards of $7k for the two games.  Insane. Just for perspective, you could buy field level EPL tickets for any one of the top sides in the league, and it would be 10% of the price you'll pay for crappy seats at the World Cup.
    • Meh… I knew this thread would turn into a Bryce/Tua comparison, when they couldn’t be further apart situations.   Dolphins catered there whole offense toward Tua, they brought in a coach that would run a Tua friendly offense, the went in got the best most explosive WR in the NFL and paired him the fastest WR in that years draft. Panthers have done the opposite, they went and got a Pete Carroll disciple who likes to run the ball under center, they drafted big slow WR who got little separation in college. Literally the polar opposite of Bryce’s scouting report coming out of Alabama.   Tua was a decent QB 2 years ago, but the concussions, lack of movement have caught up to him. He never had a great arm to begin with but now since he doesn’t want to get hit he’s taking the whole offense down with him.
