I've seen pics of Cam carrying his baby on that segway. He's as comfortable on that thing by now as he is walking.

He may be more comfortable in a hover board and segway than he is walking now lol. The Segway has handles too so it's like he was just free riding it. Media definitely trying to create something.

Tbh, i have just always felt that from a faction of fans, the nfl, the officials, and from 99% of media, Cam has been treated the way he has simply because he was black AND loud.  If he was a servile, quiet, fake humble cornball like RG3, then they would have left him alone and probably propped him up.

But, he's big, fast, strong, and loud in his actions, dances, and style...  and the white powers that be cant take a lot of that.  It's too black.  And so, from Nawrocki's atrocity of a scouting report pre-draft, to the nfl not protecting him, to mothers writing letters to their local media demanding he stop dancing, to the nfl allowing him to play his game until he reached the biggest one and pull the chair out from under him and the team and then forcing him to do a postgame presser in view and ear shot of a winning opponent bragging about shutting him down...  and then this year, with the officials allowing him to be beaten down and head hunted, and now the criticism of him riding a fuging segway...  it, to me, just all looks like a giant controlled attempt by those in charge to humble him.  All thats missing is Goodell publicly stating, "yer gonna learn yer place boy."

And this is where i get so frustrated with the team...  no one is defending him.  I just hope turn things around quickly.  A lot of this crap is just side effects of losing.  People have to find someone or something to blame, but as i mentioned with numerous examples above, certain peolle have been WAITING for Cam to falter so they could blame him.

The elephant in the room. Agreed 100%. I've said so many times, the white powers that be do not like confident, cocky, talented and unapologetic black men in this league. It made them, and other conservative whites, uncomfortable. Cam is not media friendly because he says what he says and will do whatever he wants and won't apologize for it. So they had to find another way to control the situation. I think this really goes to the team Cam has around him. I have to say they do a good job at keeping that circle tight and not allowing him to focus on the negative.

I feel so different towards the organization for not stepping up. The media will keep on because they know this team doesn't back him. Its one thing for TD, Greg, Luke, Trai, KB and those guys to vouch for him but it means EVERYTHING when the coaches and FO have your back. They don't. He probably now realizes that.

Yup, which is why we need a new staff and FO that will.  I'm tired of it.

We do but I don't see that happening. It will take Cam flipping his lid on the media and leaving Charlotte. I'm sure if someone caught him chewing with his mouth open, they'd question his upbringing and it would be front page news. Someone on that coaching staff has to come to his defense. I don't look to Gettleman or Richardson to, but damn at least the head coach. Get off of his back. But then they wonder why Cam only does his weekly conferences with the media and nothing more. He wants no parts of it, stays out of the way and still can't catch a break.

This racist, backstabbing fanbase, franchise, and coaching staff does not deserve Cam. I would not be at all mad if he were to leave the next chance he got. Majority of teams in this league would bend over backwards, welcome Cam with open arms, and heavily defend Cam in any way if he were to go to their team. Our fans and city on the other hand would rather burn his jersey, racially mock him, and turn on him when any adversity hits. If Cam had a Mike Tomlin or an Arians as head coach, they wouldn't put up with this sh*t Cam gets from the media and people. They would defend him to their graves.

David Newton doesn't help, in fact he always trying to start sh*t in our locker room..two weeks ago it was Tre Boston where DN blatently lied about what Boston said, yesterday he tweeted that DA was the stadium putting in work and he never seen Cam being there that early..Considering how DA played, he should have just shown up when the National Anthem was being butchered by the Piano player, would have gotten the same results..

Isn't David newton the guy tony Stewart went off on during a press conference a while back?

Stupidest poo I've ever heard.  If anything it shows how modest he is.  Would it be better if he had to be seen in $200k cars everywhere he goes?  I swear I have never seen the media have it out for an athlete like this.  All he can do is go and play the QB position and shut them up like last year.

And he remains the same through it all. Cam is going to leave the very first chance he gets and not one person should be mad.
