Oh the little boy is still playing with his fisher price my first laptop again.

And still your gaping hole oozes of bitterness over one comment towards someone else and like a condom machine from a truck stop, you can't let it go.

The source material is 9th grade quality and the art work would make a Montessori teacher chuckle.

You personally have killed this show for me and i will spend my new found hour on Sundays reading missed connections from West Virginia and see how many of your posts there i can recognize.

Tell the guys in the gym hi.

I don't care what anyone says, Negan is the only reason this first half has been watchable.   He's hilarious but has a method to his madness (whether good or not).   When he said "And I fed him spaghetti" I lol'd.

Still slow episodes but these aren't as bad as previous seasons and they are at least building up the story with Negan invading their lives and continuously killing people.  It's not like they have Rick sitting around a campfire with someone discussing "how things are now" for 4 shows, things are happening.   They are clearing out the herd of unneeded characters too, which is always nice.

The houseboat was a cool scene though, something I long wondered why others weren't doing (although maybe in a larger lake/pond though).  I like episodes where they just encounter weird stuff like that.

Anyway the dude with boots, imo, is Dwight.  He was missing from this episode.   He wasn't really at the Saviors place and he wasn't at Alexandria.    He's scoping things out, for reasons of his own.

I LOL'd at Negan being a ballistic expert immediately as well though.  I guess you could make a case that he's been around a LOT of ammo since the world fell and had access to things a normal person in a normal world wouldn't have.   Negan IS super smart, regardless of anything else, no one can run his setup without being sharp.

Can Carl please, please, cut that hair, for the love of everything.

Also that last scene, the montage of showing everyone in the reunion was too cheesy lol, looked like a 90's intro to a sitcom just needed the "Family Matters" song and the Winslows.

Negan immediately going into full bullistic expert in that scene was just lazy writing.

Also, I hated the Aaron beat down. Dude has always been able to hold his own in pressure environments (which is why he was the Alexandra recruiter) and then he randomly now is a stumbling stutterer when he gets a little heat about a drawing?

the material is there for this all to be good (just listen to comic fans). That is why I am so critical of it.  Each episode just seems to be an expert course in crappy writing and story telling...to a degree you don't see this bad as on most hit shows.

As far as the last scene.  I can deal with that type cheese.  Daryl man pain was off the charts.

The mystery boots IMO have to be an unknown person (mid level evil video game boss).  They are going to have to insert another story arc inside the backhalf in order to milk the war starting until the finale.  Every episode can't be planning planning and wooing groups.

Walking Dead, people won't admit, is basically the Nickelback of syfy genre shows right now.  That's why it can be a hit and have lazy writing.

The Rosita scene was horriblly done.  Of course the miracle bat eats the bullet from 10 ft away.  Not sure why they even broke for commmercial, no one thought that bullet would do anything. Of course he immediately figured out they make their ammo because of that shot.  Makes total sense Negan is a ballistics expert and immediately after almost being killed his first thought was to inspect a shell casing.

I disagree with pretty much everything you say in the Panthers forum, but I agree with everything you've said about this show haha

The ending montage was horrible, with Daryl and Rick grinding on each other, the meaningful looks and nods, and the group walking up the hill in a "show of solidarity".

Other than that, the episode was great. But Rosita can't act.

Spencer however, did an amazing job in his scene with Negan. Can't give that guy enough credit.

I'm glad they gave you 110% Daryl man pain at the end.  You deserve to suffer.

They should just start every episode with Daryl staring into the camera with a single tear rolling down his cheek.  The single tear will be up for your own interpretation.

Yeah honestly, Negan has nailed a bunch of one liners.  I'm a comic reader and honestly, I've been pretty OK with Negan on the show.   The comic version was a bigger dude but that's the comics.

    • I mean, I get why the media and some NFL and Carolina fans are saying that we don't have a real chance, but as many Huddlers should know, we won't know what we really have in this team until probably late September or early October at the earliest. And I'm not trying to be a homer, I'm just looking at things historically. Obviously I'm also looking at Bryce's "palatable" improvement the last half of last season (including being the catalyst for hanging with and nearly beating the Super Bowl participants), and the new additions that we've acquired overall. I'm also looking at the beginnings of a culture change--even if perceptibly subtle--to some degree indeed may take a foothold if things start falling the right way. But, overall, I'm still cognizant of the realization that things could just go south and that perhaps that Bryce could revert and flop, or that D & D (Dan and Dave) are not the answer, but I still am not ready to say "we're far away." Hell we could be close, albeit with growing pains, but even if we're on the course to bring legit in 2026, then guys like Ramsey would be welcome additions this season. That's just my take on it. I don't think we'll know that we're far away until some point in the season. If we can compete in the South...who knows?
    • You guys remember when the narrative on here was that Bryce would be chronically injured in the NFL due to his size and Anthony Richardson would be super durable due to his? You remember when the narrative was that Bryce was physically incapable of throwing a ball further than 20 yards in the NFL? You remember “I’ll stop complaining when he throws for more than 200 yards and looks like an NFL quarterback”? You remember when 60 sacks was his fault and not the offensive line, slow WRs, and terrible scheme? Pepperidge Farm remembers. It will always be something for some people. Whatever insanity they come up with will be quickly dropped to move on to the next thing. Bryce could have an MVP Super Bowl winning season and they would complain that we can’t run the tush push with him. It will always be something.
    • For the Panthers fans still low on Bryce and demanding that he be a top-10 QB this upcoming season: What stat(s) will you need to see? Not the vibe you want, but rather what does he need to be top-10 in specifically? Passing yards? Completion percentage? Win-loss record? PFF grades? EPA? CPOE? Asking because this was asked before and... well... it ended up that the folks down on him didn't care about the numbers as much as they cared that they just couldn't get passed his size regardless of how he performed. It would be nice to get a straight-forward answer to that without the usual deflection and redirecting.
