today's tweets: Cam didn't throw again today

Cam Newton (shoulder) and Kelvin Benjamin (back) limited today.

Cam Newton said Cam Newton had MRI on his right shoulder, everything was fine. Feels confident in him playing vs. Washington.

Ron Rivera says MRI was clean on Cam Newton: "We're just going to bring him along. We're not going to overwork him."

Rivera said Benjamin landed on his back after making a catch in practice yesterday. Being careful with him.

Ted Ginn Jr. said he no plans on getting into a trash talking match with Josh Norman. "You fall into his trap and he's gotcha."

In a lot of ways, Norman is like Smith. Once Smith got in your head, it was a wrap. Same with Norman.

The CB/WR matchups are such chess games. As a former CB,  I loved it!

he wanted to play in Carolina. pretty simple.

Had that big old tag contract sitting right there the whole time. Just needed his signature. He basically screwed around while his agent pissed everyone off until the offer was rescinded and he was shown the door. Then Norman fires agent and cries about being disrespected.

Actually, it was Norman who disrespected the team and its management by jacking around for so long. Gettleman could have held him to it and left the tag out there for him to hold out and not sign until the season started. Instead he said, okay big shot, go find the money elsewhere.

Norman did. Anything beyond here is just pissin' and moaning.

Say what you will but Norman won that exchange. He is the highest paid cb in the league and going to the playoffs.

Instead of being on this sorry excuse for a team Gettleman put together.
