Lol yea "after this game". That proves y'all suckers were afraid pregame and during the game until the 4th qt. Y'all were afraid of a crappy and injured 2016 Carolina Panthers. Somehow y'all suck ass are currently no2 seed. Lol how pathetic. Talk all big after the game. Wouldn't come on here and talk trash pre game.

Look at me. Talked trash about your ugly team years ago. Trashed your team pregame and during it. I'm still taking after we lost. I know my Carolina Panthers. We'll be back. Y'all won't. Get excited after this stupid crappy season of yalls. Your team still suck and will get pounded in the playoffs.

Makes sense,

OK I guess not all Carolina fans are intelligent. Look up my posts. I've been thrashing your team all season on the falcons forum, and talking smack here before the game. Newton's ugly hats maybe making your eyes behave funny...

Lmao you wouldn't even take a sig bet. And there's a difference between talking trash and declaring that everyone on a 10-5 team (singling out the NFL's current sack leader) "fuggn sucks(s)." That's not talking trash, that's talking nonsense.

Vic Beasley has 45% of your team total sacks. Y'all defense is whack is poo dumbass. You really think that's going to get y'all pass GB, Dal, NYG, Det or Seattle? Lol. Y'all are the weakest team in the NFC currently. No2, lmfao.

Yes.

We beat GB and lost to Seattle in a a non call. Considering how much better our defense is playing we've got a really good shot to go all the way this year.

Yeah, ok.

As much as it would comfort me to say that, I can't this team is too talented to say they suck .....just a lot of problems between injuries, coaches being dumbasses and players just shitting the bed I don't think it's fair to say that the team just sucks ..... sucks is when you lack talent you lack coaches you lack skill and is just overall A different monster than what we are dealing with.

Also this needs to be said we played teams that were the best of the best , well according to records ... BUT We all know how deceiving that can be..... we gave the Raiders a run for their money and that's with all the people we had out and injured we gave the Kansas City Chiefs a run for their money we gave these teams that were supposed to be tough teams that were supposed to sweep us under the rug a hard time so that to me is proof enough to say that we got it we just need to do some adjusting. T'is the season to not look at the glass half empty but half full some of y'all could use some positivity and I know it's hard to not complain but damn let's just enjoy this last game because it'll be a while before football comes back

Panthers don't suck. The Browns suck. the 49ers suck. Panthers aren't even close to being on that level.

Yeah panthers had ish luck with injuries this year. Reminds me of the falcons in 2013- at one point in 2013, they were down 9 of 11 starters on offense from the previous season, had a TE playing RT for more than half a game because of injuries.

Going to be interesting to watch the offseason in the NFCS. It could easily be the most competitive division in the NFL. Panthers have cap space to reload, Winston is a good looking young QB, Brees has another year or two left, Falcons have a young D getting better every game and a possible MVP at QB coming back.

i think there was a problem with lackluster energy, too. they didn't have the same grit and fight that they had the last 3 years. hopefully this seasons disappointment will bring that fire back.

    • No you dont.  He had all those records for years before his final season. Whether career or season he had them all years before his final season in which he played 6 games.
    • Williams covered for Moore by saying they were on the wrong page about Moores specific route. Williams could have easily covered for him by saying he messed up. Suggesting only 1 route was ever intended to be a viable target is absurd.
    • I am going to agree with Linville this time--I think we need to get a veteran edge (We have Jones II, Scourton, and Princely--2 developmental guys and a decent veteran).  We don't really think of Jones because he had a hamstring injury weeks 3 and 4 and a back that required surgery Week 6-17.  He still managed 10 pressures, and he will be 28.  Princely Umanmielen only played in approximately 18-20% of the snaps and he struggled at times.  Basically, he was a situational pass rusher.  He got 1.5 sacks and 10 pressures.  He should improve, but for now, he is what he is.  Scourton gives us hope.  For a rookie (and thanks to Jones II's injuries, he was given more PT), he had 8 sacks--and held the edge.  He played at a first-round draft pick level.  He has the potential to become "that guy" in 2026. We lose Wonnum, who played nearly 700 snaps and amassed 3 whole sacks.  For a person raised a Gamecock, I would not be upset if we purged our roster of all South Carolina alumni.   However, I see it this way:  Wonnum was decent holding the edge, something Patrick Jones II and Scourton have demonstrated at a high level.  He is a liability, if you ask me.    Jones had 7 sacks one season in Minnesota and is known for his inside rushing ability--not what you would call a speed rusher.  I think Princely was a bit disappointing, but he was a bit raw.  Out of college, they described him as being a bit predictable.  I see no reason he will not improve in 2026 and become a situational pass rusher.   Basically, with Scourton and Princely expected to continue to develop and Jones II returning from injury, I think we need another veteran (if we can get a good one) to give us balance and depth.  A third developmental player is not ideal.   Draft:  OT, LB, WR, OL depth, S. Free Agency:  Edge, possibly a WR;  re-sign Mays, Cuhran, BC (??), and Nijman.  Let walk:  Wonnum, Scott, Dowdle.  I see about $20m per year after signing the OL depth.  Spend it on a veteran edge.   Players like Reddick (Tampa), Bosa (Buffalo), Khalil Mack (LAC) could be available on a one or two year deal in the $15m range.  We could splurge here, but I think a veteran situational pass rusher (depending on Jones II's back) is all we need while our 2 young guns develop.
