What do you make out of Cams press conference?

Cam seems like the type of player that would retire when the game no longer becomes fun. He thrives off of energy. When the league is against you and your protection isn't up to par and you don't have enough weapons, that would suck the fun out of any QB. We need to give this guy protection and weapons soon or else I can see him leaving the game real early.

Cam is not a quitter

Injuries didn't make our defense stink. Healthy we gave up some of our worst D performances in franchise history.

Injuries didn't cause our pass game issues ....Wade Phillips informing the league not to allow us to help the weak OL was our problem (and our coaching staff knew that was coming)

They knew that our OL wouldn't hold up thats why most teams where physcial with our WRs to disrupt the timing of the route

and they always brought 2nd level defender in the delayed  blitz.

We should just spend on someone right?  Cause it worked out amazing for Hurney.

Did I say that? Hmmm... Let me check. No, I didn't.

We could have kept Norman for a year on his franchise tender. Would that have helped the secondary? BTW, please don't feed me the BS line about a comparison his performance with Bradberry. (1) There's no reason we couldn't have both. and (2)) It's not apples to apples. He is perfect for our system, not as perfect for Washingto.

If we wanted to go cheap, what about Casey Hayward? He sure would have helped.

You do know we resigned few players to extensions after Norman tag was reversed right?  It was a tactical financial move.

This really is kind of ridiculous. No one thought our Offense would be this bad. Not one of you.

Everyone knew our Defense was going to suffer until the kids at CB grew into their roles.

Yet almost everyone picked us to be at minimum, a Playoff team.

So c''mon man. Not one of you actually thought this year was going to happen. So why all of a sudden is there so much blame being thrown around?

They are mind readers.  They are more informed than analysts, coaches and even GM.  Didn't you know?

I'm not sure who you are referring to specifically, but are you saying those extensions would not have been possible with the more than $25 million we had left in cap space?

Should have kept Smitty, sorry he made DG look like a dumbass...Smitty would be retiring a Panther problably coming back even next season.  Needed that fire last two seasons from him. Oh well..

Smitty is another example why DG does not put up with this bullshit.

    • I believe Lloyd will elevate not just the whole unit, but also whoever his running mate is. Wallace is still very young, I think he's only 23 with two years of exp now. Cherelus can handle starting, he's just fighting with staying healthy. Kuwatch I think is going to be a contender after a couple week of understanding the system.  I mean Lee will be against..... what nearly 10 NFL-level WRs, he's going to get work and its up to him if he can hang.  I think its fair to expect 12th +/- 3 or 4 spots.  You know this, it boils down to how healthy everyone stays.....cause if dbrown, horn, Lloyd, Michael Jackson, or tervon miss extended time.....no way 10th can be reached. IF all the names above remain haethly, I do think 10th should be the goal. They are a young unit and added talent to a 16th ranked unit. Its time to march forward!!
    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
