A bit of Panthers relevance to this weekend's games.

Need a little incentive to watch this weekend's games? Still feeling scorned by Dollar Dave?

Keep this in mind as a potential point of interest:

Watch very closely to see who ends up with the 25th overall pick in the draft.

After looking at the draft value trade chart, our 2nd round pick and our first 3rd round pick yield enough points to move into that selection, and with how the draft looks this year, I feel its very possible we explore it.

Will a team bite on a 2nd and 3rd for their 1st? I wouldn't think so. But the chart gets a lot praise each year, so its worth mentioning if youre still bitter like me.

If by some miracle the Patriots lose they're always game to move back.  In the more likely scenario of the Texans, I would think that would be an attractive deal to them if we felt the need to move in front of the Seahawks for Ramczyk or Falcons for Charlton.

Remember however, the trade value chart is not set in stone, and can fluctuate good and bad due to team needs, need to accumulate additional picks, and other factors (teams at the top of the 2nd still needing a QB?), and 1st round picks given the 5th year option, etc.

Seattle being bumped down an extra spot is nice too.

Houston is an interesting team here. Their biggest need is absolutely QB and you can't often expect to find a QB at 25, (though that could change in an odd class) They could use some help on the OL as well.

This is definitely possible I think. You're not giving up much and to move up and select a better player with the 5th year option attached is only good, and there's always some moronic team willing to give it up because theyve overthought the whole process.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
