People tend to think of only the player when discussing trades, you have to factor in the contract. 

If he was under contract for 3 years at $2m a year he trade value is totally different than one year at $8m.

Nope. Can find a DT in the middle of draft with more production.  Plus Panthers won't touch this guy with his off-field stuff.

He was mocked to us a lot the year we drafted Star.  When the Jets took him one pick ahead, I was happy.

He could probably play DE in our system (general speculation is so could KK) but even so I can't see it.
