It's even better than that. We would only be responsible for the base salary. Staley is a steal at 8.2, 4.8 and 4.8M for next 3 years. Thomas is 8.8M/yr for two. I'd throw that pick at them for elite LT play for next 2-3 years GUARANTEED! Whitworth should be only one in FA they pursue this hard. Peters as a fallback. Reiff as desperation.

Screw it. Trade a 2nd to the Browns and both 3rds to the 9ers...bye bye Remmers and Oher...hello best oline in the NFL

Thomas/Turner/Kalil/Norwell/Staley

Draft Fournette

People think they're slim based on history and what we know of GMan.  FUG that.  Let's write a new history.  The Falcons did and nearly won the whole thing by being aggressive and signing Alex Mack who stoned our beloved KK.  NOW is the time to be aggressive and sign a guy that's already stoned the Falcons in his own right.

Your passionate speech is spot on.....but Eric Berry won't ve a Panther.

This is an interesting point I hadn't thought of. We could let KK walk and simply replace them in a very deep d-line draft. The 13.5 million offset becomes a moot point. The talent is there has late as the end of day 2. Even though three would be a consideration

Hell yeah man, this is the perfect draft to find another elite DT. The DT from UNCC is somebody who comes to mind. Berry is a once in a generation talent at Safety & somebody who defines  our Mantra #KeepPounding!

Sign EB and a few others in FA, and draft on the offensive in April, we will then get to watch this club ascend to the level we all know it is meant to be.

Trenches on both sides of the ball are always a priority

Right but in the salary cap era doesn't it make more financial sense to draft the premium positions and have them playing on rookie deals while splurging at the other positions in FA?

Hooker or Adams will probably be available at 8, not sure if a KK replacement will

Big assumption since any combination of both players has been consistently mocked from 3-7.  Would also mean no Fournette, no stud DE, etc.

I suppose the best tactic, from a salary cap perspective, is to draft positions that Garner High salaries in free agency. Defensive end, defensive tackles and cornerbacks. Wide receivers on offense. Just have a rookie and Veteran minimum Turnstyle.

Quarterback would be the exception to this rule considering how important the position is. I would list offensive tackle but they're so hard to find am plugin as rookies.

Are you joking or something..

I was wondering the same thing when you posted "can't cancer come back..."

Really?

R e a l l y. . . . .

Im no oncologist, but I did stay at a holiday Inn express last night, and my spider senses tell me that cancer can come back, sharks are dangerous and there can't be an "Air n space museum" because there is no air in space...

If you think we should be wary because of the possibility of remission to a 28 year old with the best medical care on the planet, then I've got some land to sell ya.
