Jags do need a Tackle

A lot of teams need a LT this year.. I was high on Kalil at first just cause of Matt but from I have heard his brother would not be much of an Improvement over Remmers..the position is in high demand and no talent..since teams are constantly shuffling players to that position who never played LT..

I want Okung or Clady along with Fluker.

Fug Kalil. That's a mediocre ugly signing that Gman can sell to dumb fans and make it seem like he did something extraordinary.

A reason might be they prefer another guy or guys

Then let him be depth. Competition.

Personally, I'm a play it safe guy. Right now I'm counting Oher out, at the very least not expecting him to come back to full form, which was slightly better than average at best.

With that in mind, I'll correct myself and say I don't see a good reason as to why more than one candidate should not be brought in. Especially at realistic, prove yourself offers given Kalil needs to, and has zero leverage.

I guarantee you gman cares zero about selling things to fans. That is something we have certainly learned by now.

Okung could be good.. I know Clady and Fluker were good.. I have no idea how they are now.. imagine not too good unless they are seeking big money.. we need help on the o-line.. Oher was a great fill we need to get that again..its a gamble.. we are good for getting someone career relevant again!!

Yes he does. He sells stupid signings and picks for his own sake. Ohhh hogmolly this hogmolly that. Just bc your ass is fat, if doesn't mean you need to make a fat team.

    • Got to give some credit to the coaching staff on these. You can grab top talents but without good coaching, they just fizzle out. We've seen that a lot around here.
    • Oh, no TV for tonight's game unless you have the NHL Network, I believe. I could be wrong, hopefully?
    • Early returns are great and exciting but also worth noting that Gettleman had a few drafts that looked incredible early on and wound up mostly sucking (2014 mainly). Also PFF; grain of salt, etc.    I'm completely sold on Tet being a stud, knocked a high pick out of the park like we needed to and always should. Nearly sold on Scourton. Not sold on Princely but he had flashes. Not sold on Etienne as more than a 3rd stringer and special teamer, but that's not terrible for his draft position. Big fan of Ransom and think he'll be a starter.  Cam Jackson : IDK, I see limited upside but we didn't see much of him Evans was a nice find for draft position and he had a great rookie year for a late round rookie TE with plenty of veteran competition. Not sure about his upside though, seems like best case is a long term #2/3 TE, which isn't bad. Jimmy Horn, personally I didn't see a damn thing from him that impressed me all year. And he got a lot of opportunities. Pulling for the kid, but not convinced he's an NFLer.   UDFA: Fitzgerald was an amazing find
