That's why I said who. I had to go to Wikipedia and search, and then look for the safety.

I kind of feel bad for not knowing his name. I usually remember players by teams, and this guy has now been on five different teams. Or maybe it's that he has such a common name.

More leadership in the secondary for cheap. Something we need. If we get Jamal Adams, we'll get youth AND more leadership. Worst case we have a logjam at safety and have to cut him.

This guy was a Pro Bowl alternate twice. Looks like we have a new Harper which can be a good thing.

Sounds like he was the most capable starting caliber SS left. Better than nothing and may even be something for a year or 2. 

Short term solution but better than having Boston back on the field.
