I can't link twitter at work, so here's a bungie forums post about it.

Based on the leaked images, I'm just so excited!  As some forum folks there already posted, the bottom of the Traveler is healed and the city is smoking at night.  Hrm...

Could be that the Traveler has woken up, is pissed and wants revenge!  Or it's been hijacked by the darkness and is attacking.  Or the Cabal have managed to penetrate the Traveler's defenses, attacked it, and this is a shot of the Traveler falling on the city...

Fun conspiracy theories?  Go!

There was an art snafu where the artist left a second Traveler image in the background which sent the Destiny-verse into a complete frothing mess.  Was pretty funny on twitter =)

So after a night of reflection:  I think the Cabal have attacked.  Since they aren't part of the Darkness, they are simply a military force, which has had it's leadership in the Solar System destroyed.  They may be able to bypass the Traveler's "defenses" because they aren't tainted by the Darkness the way the Fallen, Hive and Vex are.  In TTK, the message was sent, and now the Cabal are investigating why their armies are being constantly kicked in the teeth.  I read (just now, checking on the Cabal and Darkness relationship), that they are studying our self-resurrection abilities before they commit to full and total war with us.  Fun times.

I guess they could be here and ready to fight us.  Maybe they have a way to block our light, or at least weaken it to the point where we aren't as powerful.  Then Destiny 2 is about us finding our powers again and reclaiming the City and protecting what's left of Humanity.

That would be a powerful narrative.  I just hope Shaxx is still there.  He and Cayde.  Love those two guys!

Very nice! We never got a cabal raid did we? I always like fighting them and the vex the most.

Holy poo on a stick!  Color excited!  I can't wait to see the full trailer Thursday.  I'm just going to watch this on loop for several hours.

So the Canal are attacking the city, The Vanguard are kicking ass, and Cayde-6 is in rare form!

Man, I wish I could have made it to a GameStop this week to preorder for my Cayde-6 bobble dead.../weep...

Destiny was the only game I played for most of 2016. When I solo'd the Crota raid, it sealed it as my favorite game ever.

      I don't really get the Cam parallels. Cam was a monster and even with the refs not giving him his due he still ate. Where it finally had an impact was when they let defenses headhunt him. There are probably some refs that don't like LaMelo for reasons people can determine on their own. But I think most of the noncalls are due to us being a small market team and the league and the refs just giving zero fưcks if we continue to exist. At the end of the day it's up to LaMelo to rise above it all. Nobody is out there trying to take his head off. He needs to add some bulk in the offseason assert himself and get physical in the paint and take any fouls that might come along the way and gradually you will see the tide turn. But nothing is going to change for the better for him or the team if he just continues to limit himself to acrobatic threes from halfcourt. That's just the reality of the situation.

      Terrence Brown Jr. Scored 19.9 and 3.8 apg for Utah. He had a visit today, Juke Harris had one yesterday. Word is Knox is following Martin to UNC.  Avdalas committed today Jarin committed to returning  Young committed to returning  Adams committed to enrolling  Last I heard Mingo is still committed  So right now the roster is as far as I know.  Mingo, Adams, Avdalas, Young, Knox, Matlekovic, and Stevenson.    Veesar and Juke both have significant offers from UNC.
