I don't care what you all say, I'm missing Jenkins.

Funny, as I watched this video (from week one), I was inexplicably drawn to the bottom line scrolling across with a vivid reminder "Delhomme pulled from game (coaches decision)".

Subliminal message perhaps? Watch it again. :D

I thought the same thing Kurb... But, with the current state of the franchise, I do wonder how much of it was Jenkins being a "cancer" vs. Jenkins speaking his mind against the establishment of Fox/Hurney.

With the way the locker room is appearing right now, I don't think Jenkins was a bad influence at all. I think he was going to expose the staff for what they were and they didn't like it; he didn't fall in line with the "say nothing to the media" way of things here...

For whatever you think about his candor, Jenkins had a very "do as I say, not as I do" persona. He questioned the commitment of others while at the same time being a guy who pretty much never came to offseason workouts and always showed up to camp out of shape.

To hear guys talk about Jenkins, you get the impression a lot of guys don't especially miss him.

    • Throw that in the trash my man. Even my toddler knows that
    • Evero is an idiot and I think he must love him some trash players. Whatever, they all deserve to get fired for thinking that was building up a roster yet again. Just spinning wheels going nowhere.
    • John Kosko of Pro Football Focus looked at every starting quarterback in the NFL and what would be each signed-caller’s biggest weakness. When it came to Young, Kosko pointed to disguised coverage. “Forty-one NFL quarterbacks faced at least 100 drop backs where the defense disguised their coverage in 2024, and Young ranked 41st in PFF overall grade on such plays (53.4).” “A disguised coverage,” explained Kosko, “is defined as the safeties showing a one-high coverage look pre-snap and rotating to a two-high coverage shell post-snap, or showing a two-high coverage pre-snap and rotating to a one-high coverage post-snap. On the other hand, Young owned a seventh-ranked 83.7 PFF overall grade with no coverage disguises. It’s clear to see where the former No. 1 overall pick struggles in the NFL.” https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/pff-reveals-panthers-qb-bryce-young-s-most-glaring-weakness-01k45kvx7fx9   Didn't post to bash on Bryce more than we already have, but this is something I will be watching for this season.
