We will see. If he is a serviceable special teams guy or even a back up, I am perfectly fine with that. Just not a guy I see being NFL caliber starter.

I can see where people would doubt him. I get it. But this dude is one of the hardest workers I've ever seen. Dude balls out when the lights come on. Like he said, all he needed was an opportunity, and he's been proving people wrong his whole life. He thrives off being doubted. Hope he's a Panther for a very long time.

I'm not sure if Boulware is going to pan out or not.  He just seems like a guy who will have concussion issues..

What is your reasoning? Not saying you're wrong, just curious. He's never been diagnosed with a concussion.

He was a good college player, for sure. Hope he is successful. He would be a fantastically cheap option, even in the long term.

I take it you are a Clemson fan?

Just certain behavioral and speech cues I've seen from him. Also guys like him with limited (not horrible) athleticism have to be crazy and sacrifice their body to get to where he's gotten.

I've got nothing solid just intuition.

Is that homer I smell?

I am gonna take a wild guess that you didn't see that he was pretty close to the worst LB athletically at the draft. Good college player, highly unlikely to be an NFL player.

that's just the guy I am going to pull for...sometimes attitude and heart wins...ask Bill Bates...

Boulware is the next Stephen Hill/Wegher of this board. He won't amount to much but this board will find a way to over hype him to point where they firmly believe he should be starting

I don't think he has the athletic ability to be a starter in the NFL.  But, I could definitely see him sticking around as a very good ST player and a backup LB that can give you some snaps in a pinch....he definitely has the motor, drive, and bat poo crazy streak that makes a good ST player.

I am definitely getting his jersey....but hey, it is good even if he does not make the team as we have the same last name.

    • D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently.  oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform.  would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset.  Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.
    • I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
    • I trust Morgan when it comes to LBs so I think Wallace will do well.
