I knew nothing about this before watching it. Based on a novel i didnt read. Anyways, Brian Fuller is EP so its got to be good. Defiantly weird.

I loved it! Ian McShane is awesome. Neil Gaiman has always had a very different style. The writing is great and very stylistic. It's not like Tarantino dialogue where it sounds conversational. It's more stylistic. The show delivered to me. I'm in.

I was surprised at how true to the novel some of the dialog has been.  That compared to what appears to be dead on balls accurate casting leaves me reasonably encouraged that this will live up to what was an awesome novel.

You can tell Fuller is all over this. Looks very visually similar to Hannibal.

In the viking fight scene, did anybody notice the flying arms sword go out of the letterboxing? Had to scan back to see it again.

I'm liking it so far although I wish they released all the episodes at once because last nights episode felt like it didn't go anywhere until the end.

read the book a while ago, and enjoyed it.  I'm a little skeptical about the show.  If it's loyal, though, it may be worth a looksie.

4ep in and they are not making it easy for me to keep my wife watching.  I read the book just a few months back so its not so bad for me but my wife ends up with more questions than answers with each episode.

I really hope there is a good payoff ending/continuation to this...
