A little roster shuffling

Panthers have signed ECU LB Zeek Bigger (what a name for a football player) and waived Alex Bazzie.

Bears have done a little too, dumping former Gamecocks QB Connor Shaw to make room for Victor Cruz.

The Saints apparently put in a waiver claim on Shaw before, so he could up in our division.

Bazzie barely had time to unpack. A Panther for 3 weeks. Worst case, he can always go back to the CFL.

I'm glad to hear it.  Quite frankly, he should have had Jared Barber's camp spot last year.

I just don't understand why teams won't give Shaw a chance. Maybe it's all due to my garnet shaded lenses but the guy was a great leader at USC. Had a very Cam-esque way of willing his team to win against all odds.

I asked a friend who is a Bears fan about Shaw a while back and he said from what he has seen Shaw just can't make the throws he needs to make. Not enough arm. Not enough zip of the ball.

Sounds like Shaw might need to be in a WCO to play in the NFL.

Just saw an item that said the Bears are going to keep him after all, though. Apparently Mark Sanchez hurt his knee.

OMG!  Now the Bears don't have a QB!
