BoA getting artificial turf I don't know about?

I kid, I kid, offseason ya know

FYI- the 'a' definition of turf is the real stuff. The artificial version comes in as the 'b' definition.

Point received; However, the comment that was made clearly was referencing the Rams offense back in the day and per Wikipedia:

Quote

The first appearance of the term came when ESPN's Chris Berman, preparing to cover highlights of a 57-31 win over the San Diego Chargers that year, said to television audiences, "Forget Ringling Brothers; the Rams are the Greatest Show on Earth." Over the following weeks, "Earth" was replaced with "Turf" to signify the artificial playing surface of the Trans World Dome and how it magnified and enhanced the Rams' already speedy offense.

So using the moniker "The Greatest Show on Turf" more or less insinuates an offense that is magnified and enhanced by an artificial playing surface.

But hey, like I said originally, it's the offseason.

I suppose I'm just in anal retentive mode this week. I keep resisting the urge to point out the difference between 'complimentary' and 'complementary running backs'.

I'm a big fan of Stewart and have come to appreciate the way he just quietly does his job with little fanfare or appreciation despite being asked to do the impossible for this team.  If anyone questions his importance to this offense take at look at the games he played and didn't play last season. Without him our run game is a joke, he makes plays out of nothing with guys hitting him in the backfield.

He is also the only one who Cam seems completely comfortable with running the zone reads.   Even if they are just used for deception to freeze the defenses for an instant, those plays were never effective when stew isn't out there. Defenses just don't respect the other RB on the team enough to commit and make that play work.

One of the big reasons we lost the SB was because stew went down and Tolbert had to carry the load. Stew is underrated by all of us and he just doesn't seem to care.

Guess he sees the big picture in that reducing his carries actually benefits him in the long run. Longer career = more money

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
