Maclin or Decker?

I'd take Maclin. I think he's the more talented receiver. His stats are a little better too, despite missing 25% of last season with the groin injury.

Decker only appeared in 3 games last season and only received 8 targets as a rookie.

Plus, Decker has spent all but two seasons of his career with the likes of The Golden Calf of Bristol, Geno Smith, and Ryan Fitzpatrick throwing him the ball. Maclin has benefited from being in offenses that like to spread the defense out and throw the ball. If you compare Dejcer and Maclin in terms of the percentage of receiving yardage and TDs they accounted for in their offenses it wouldn't surprise me if Decker isn't significantly ahead.

Saw this debate on NFL.com and was curious what you guys think.

If you could add either gentleman to our roster, $$$ aside, which would it be and why?

Assuming both are healthy, I'd take Decker.

There is no need for either one, we need a 2nd TE more so than another oversized WR.

Hasn't Maclin been a return man before as well?

He's a very underwhelming punt teturner in the NFL. 100 career returns with a 6.7 yard average, no TDs, and most alarmingly a long of 27 yards.

Either way, I think we're going to see our 1st and 2nd round picks getting the bulk of the return duties.

Just stop it already with the #2 TE stuff. We're don't running two TEs as our base offense.

I don't agree , based on Rivera's comment about usage of J-Stew and the running game we will see a lot of 2 TEs but he will be moved around the line and backfield playing FB role.
