"A lot of people" don't look into the contract details.

 

He is 28, and has a cap if of 3.5 and 6.5 respectively over the next two seasons.  We could cut him after the 18 season, designate him as a June 1, and he would cost us only 3.5M each over the 19 and 20 seasons.

His cap hit this season makes him the 26th highest paid LT in the league.

Exactly. I was very sad to see both Mitchell and JNo go, but they are overpaid. G-man makes tough decisions, but I ultimately agree that they benefit the team.

That's why Gil Brandts rating of Norman being one of the best corners of all time is BS. He was a product of our system and our dline. Guy is just a good corner who needs help to do his job. Nothing very special about him...as 2016 proved.

CJ was right when he said our front 7 makes DB's rich. Mitchell and Coleman had mediocre careers before they came here and balled out.
