Molly Cotten (from ESPN 730 radio) and David Newton are planning a weekly podcast each week about the Panthers, entitled Inside the Lair.

Their 1st episode aired today, featuring Marty Hurney, and then a training camp preview.  Total length - 30 minutes.

I'm just listening now.  Marty Hurney comes on at minute mark 5:00.

I'll post excerpts below if anything is interesting.

DN asked Marty:  Looking at the roster, what positions do you have the most concern about in terms of depth, most need to improve:

"I think it's always key spots.  Need to find backup LT; need to make sure we have enough edge rushers; need to track corner development, and need to make sure we have enough depth at safety.  But they've done a good job with the roster overall."

oh wee mayne

Agree with you, but I figure at this point we want to hear as much from Marty as we can to get a feel for where he might try and take this team...

Yeah I'm listening now. If anything you can already see the difference in availability. I could never imagine Gettleman doing a podcast just before the season, or any other time for that matter.
