Who should get the next statue - TD or 89 ?

89 obviously, HOF career.

TD's legacy is yet to be defined. (I dream of 58 holding the Lombardi over his head). This also would make a fine statue.

Prolouge: You have to realize TD is a 2 time Pro Bowler, period. His tenacity is incredible, but a statue will be sentimental as was Sam Mill's.

If 89, 58 and 90 don't get statues I don't know who will.

If 89 played 2 more years in Carolina like Julius I'd say he deserved to go first because he was "the" guy for so many years and did soooooo much. Plus he'll have padded his stats to get ahead of some big names. Not to mention the possibility of a SB with a Panther super team.

His hilite reel is better than any other Panther alive.

And it's not "those wacky college kids" doing it. It's elected city governments taking these statues down.

I think the bigger question is, after all the childish things 89 did does he still get a statue? I love Steve smith he is my favorite player of all time, however his exit behavior may have not helped his image. Thomas Davis on the other hand is the unquestioned soul of the team.
